Mission: Our mission is to promote the development and responsible application of neuroscience through interdisciplinary and international research, education, outreach and public engagement for the benefit of people of all nations, ethnicities, and cultures.
Programs: We are an interdisciplinary group of scholars, scientists,clinicians and other professionals who share an interest in thesocial, legal, ethical and policy implications of advances inneuroscience. The late 20th century saw unprecedented progress inthe basic sciences of mind and brain and in the treatment ofpsychiatric and neurologic disorders. Now, in the early 21stcentury, neuroscience plays an expanding role in human life beyondthe research lab and clinic. In classrooms, courtrooms, officesand homes around the world, neuroscience is giving us powerful newtools for achieving our goals and promoting a new understanding ofourselves as social, moral and spiritual beings.
