I had the opportunity to volunteer with this organization both abroad and stateside. The experiences were remarkable and have been some of the most transformative aspects of myself as a future healthcare worker. I am so proud to be a part of an organization that is committed to making sustainable and impactful differences in the lives of people in need all over the world.

This nonprofit is truly incredible. They may not be as big or have as many resources as other nonprofits since they are so new, but that doesn't stop them from getting out there to serve and work with communities to address the most underserved in the world. What they lack in resources, they make up for in passion and dedication. I came across them first on my local news channel and saw what incredible healthcare work they were doing for the local homeless population in my community. Once I looked them up, I was truly impressed by all the things they are doing and trying to do all over the world. There dedication to produce measurable results and impacts in the most efficient way really stands out. Additionally, I am very impressed by how they have capitalized on service learning. They train volunteers and those interested in pursuing healthcare and give them opportunities and experiences to help them pursue their academic goals while instilling a passion of community service, helping to develop more empathetic and service oriented healthcare professionals of the future. It really is a win, win, win. I can not wait to see where this nonprofit goes in the future.
