Over the course of over a year it has been a pleasure to volunteer for them. the communities they work or so grateful for them. For a small organization they make such a great impact.
I have had the privilege to intern with IHELP and have helped the organization in various areas including curricula development. It has been an honor to be a part of an organization that equips and empowers local people in health education on a global scale that is so desperately needed in this world. Then to be able to see the trained health workers putting their knowledge into practice after the training, we can leave knowing it was because of their hard work, not ours.
I got the opportunity to work with IHELP through interning, I loved all of my experience. From the hands on experience, the travel opportunity and the AMAZING team. Anytime I had any questions or needed advice on work I knew I could ask anyone on the team and they would gladly help me out. The team made the work we did that much better. I couldn't be more proud to have had the chance to serve on this team and am so happy I have gotten to stay on as a volunteer.
My internship with IHELP was an eye-opening journey into diverse cultures and global health issues. The structure in the curriculum the team prepares for each trip enhances the learning experience Community Health Workers of the diverse communities receive. The opportunity I have been given to participate in various stages of aid work provided a well-rounded skill set in global health interventions.
The supportive team and environment have been instrumental in my growth. We are connected to weekly and monthly meetings that allow the team to get to know each other further and create the best environment for our work to achieve success.
Overall, my time with IHELP has significantly contributed to my professional development. Its commitment to global health and hands-on approach set it apart. I'm grateful for the opportunity and look forward to its continued success in the field.
International HELP is truly putting its efforts where its mouth is. The organization envisions the end of preventable diseases and has thus far successfully trained and certified close to 400 Community Health Workers across 9 different countries to do just that. I have been a supporter, volunteer, and staff member with International HELP for 1.5 years, and I am truly honored to be able to work alongside this incredible organization. Here's to the training of many more Community Health Workers!!
As I volunteer I get to see firsthand the heart behind our entire team and founders. I can truly say that we are all extremely passionate about the work we do. It is also really amazing to see the lives we have impacted and hearing all of our CHW's testimonies. Our health trainings are so important and I am so thankful to be a part of the work we do!
International HELP strives to empower, educate, and equip local communities around the world to end preventable diseases through training Community Health Workers. I have been an active donor and team member of International HELP over the last 2 years and have seen how they strive to serve communities and bring hope to people around the world. Having the opportunity to serve on a few trips, I have seen firsthand how international HELP educates local people, and the pure joy and gratitude these communities have for the ability to learn and make a difference in their community. International HELP is a great organization that is humbly using our resources to make a difference for others.
