Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Arts & Culture, International, Promotion of International Understanding
Mission: International Focus is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to promote mutual understanding between North Carolina’s Triangle Region and the international community through education, economic and cultural exchange, arts, and the celebration of achievements.
Results: International Focus celebrates the Triangle’s global cultural heritage through the annual International Festival of Raleigh while serving as a pivotal connector between our community and emerging world leaders through the International Visitor Leadership Program, Youth Leadership Program, the Open World Program and other cultural, educational, economic and artistic events. Year-round, we host visiting international delegations to the area and connect them with Triangle businesses, institutions, and people for exchange and dialog. Each October, we bring our area’s international and native communities together at the International Festival of Raleigh for three days of international dance, food, and cultural exchange.
Target demographics: Native and foreign-born citizens, residents, and visitors to the Raleigh area.
