I’ve been active with this non-profit since 1982. ICSA deals with issues related to cults and inappropriate and harmful group interactions. It has been the only one to combine secular research, support for victims and loved ones, and community education.
One of the things I like about ICSA is that it welcomes all. Participants include professionals, parents, ex-members and others. It also supports clergy.
The quality of the research and writing in this organization is exceptional. Their library is fantastic. The commitment to public education on this topic is second to none.
Finally, they have educated mental health professionals on this topic for years. The knowledge base in this area is cutting edge. The resources for clients are remarkable.

Children are abused and neglected within cults and sectarian drifts (sectarian organizations, weird destructive thérapies and falselly philosophical groups). It's our parental duty to save them and support affected families. That is the reason why in America we back ICSA for their work towards pacification and in favour of Children's freedom.
