I recently joined the board, having lots of nonprofit organizational experience but little hands-on conservation experience. I was drawn by ICF's fluidity in making decisions about projects, low overhead, and focus on the actual work of field partners in converting ICF's vision into reality. I took a trip to Cambodia to evaluate two projects and was impressed with the effectiveness of the projects and quality of the administration. I was hooked. ICF gets bang for every buck. ICF is small, smart, and agile, a mammal among dinosaurs. If you are a donor who wants to see how fast and efficiently a donation can be converted into a conservation win, I cannot think of a better use. Check ICF out online and in the usual evaluation sites.
