Causes: International, International Human Rights
Mission:
The International Center for Transitional Justice works to redress and prevent the most severe violations of human rights by confronting legacies of mass abuse. ICTJ seeks holistic solutions to promote accountability and create just and peaceful societies.
Programs: Ictj assists governments, nongovernmental and international organizations, and other key actors by providing them with comparative information, legal and policy analysis, documentation and strategic research. Working collaboratively with other organizations and experts throughout the world, ictj aims to build capacity and strengthen the field of transitional justice. These efforts are frequently conducted through local offices established by ictj or through its controlled affiliated organizations.
