I salute the people working behind the organization, especially the marketing team and donor relations team. I've seen the hard work they've put into ICM to bring in funds and help alleviate ultra-poverty in the Philippines. I hope that the organization will continue to thrive in the years to come.

I was blessed to be part of their meal packing activity. They thought of a creative way to make meal packing efficient, fun, and enjoyable for everyone. We all enjoyed it! I became a part of ICM 3months ago and I witnessed lots of recipients from the certain community we visit as a ICMFI whose lives are change through the program of ICM.
They are very thankful to the program brought by ICM because it brought lots of changes in their lives, specially the livelihood ,health, values and savings program..
ICM programs helps the recipients to change their mindsets, helping them to believe that if they believed in their own capabilities and not limit it,surely they will achieved something great with help of the Almighty God.
P.s. One of their request is to bring back the educational scholarship program
Excellent, I would like to be part of this fantastic group. Thank you for the opportunity to help :)
Even though this organization is not responsible for providing for the needs of the staff's families, they help us by giving us school supplies. I'm so grateful that ICM is helping us and our parents. I hope the organization continues its programs. My mother works at the ICM Koronadal branch and we are so lucky to be ICM's recipients of support. ❤️

I truly believe in ICM’s goal. Helping the ultra-poor in the Philippines is a cause that’s dear to my heart.
Back then I was just a participant/counselor listening and learning from the Transform program and now I'm the one who is working with ICM, teaching and empowering the ultra-poor communities. Thank you ICM for this opportunity. I highly recommend ICM.
ICM is an organization that’s incredibly generous, kind and God led and driven. They were clearly orchestared and put together by our Lord to be the channel of all that is good and great from His heart to reach His children from the ultra-poor communities.
We are fortunate to pack the dry good in the US for the ultra-poor in the Philippines. We've seen the positive effect on nourishing families and especially children to fight hunger and malnourishment. ICM aided the vital needs of families living in ultra-poor conditions.
I attended ICM's programs about health and livelihood in 2018 for 15 weeks, and I learned a lot.
Until now, I am still applying what I've learned. There are too many of them to mention and I can't mention them one by one, but every lesson has made me productive. I learned how to manage a small business, how to use my time wisely, how to save money, and how to help others.
I'm very grateful that ICM came to my life because our trainers taught us what's best for our family and our community. I will never ever forget what ICM did for us.
Above all, I thank GOD because HE is the reason why we have experienced good things in our lives.
International care ministries is an incredible organization that focuses on impact. Every donation is used to set up systems and communities that don’t give a hand out but transform people’s lives, restoring dignity, hope and community to the individual.
We have been supporting ICM for more than 10 years. We have also seen first hand the work they do with the ultra poor and the benefits gained by the participants. We love that they work in the local communities teaching the participants how they can change to improve their life style. As they work in partnership with the pastors they provide ongoing support.
Being with ICM for the past six years had helped me increase my passion in helping the poor. With ICM’s right training and cost-effective resources, we were able to educate thousands of ultra poor families across the Philippines, Uganda, and this year in Guatemala. What a privilege to join ICM’s fight against poverty!
Always great to partner with ICM. Easy to work with and quick on their feet. Love how creative they are in thinking of activities that both our employees and the communities will enjoy during volunteering programs. We indeed share the same goal and passion in providing service to the communities in need, especially of support in education.
ICM gave us the opportunity to reach out to more communities especially the ultra-poor. They have opened doors for us to give back to the community and understand their needs better.
This organization is handled by professional and results-oriented individuals. They are behind lifting people from ultra-poverty who ensure that Christian values, sanitation, basic education, clean and safe food and water, reach communities in dire need. The world needs more organizations like ICM which provide a holistic approach to alleviating poverty.
ICM is one of my favourite charities! They are transparent and passionate about their advocacy.
I have visited the pastors that they help and been involved in their events. They are first class.
Imagine a nonprofit that takes care of the Philippine ultrapoor! That's Filipinos living on US 0.50 cents a day. They have already reached 1% of the 7% in our country. Their impact has to be known, amplified and supported. Other organizations can likewise learn from their governance, transparency and analytics in fulfilling its mission.
Union Church of Manila is truly blessed with the long time partnership with ICM in serving the unreached & ultra poor in the Philippines.
ICM is a known organization in the Philippines. They have touched the lives of the vulnerable/ ultra poor families in ways that are very transformative. We funded one of their projects in Cebu and I would say I would recommend this organization for all the great things they have done for the families and children they have supported.
This organization is really a potential avenue where we can reach out communities for livelihood and wholistic approach towards development of every individual who is in dire need of support system. To alleviate their current status and low estate condition to a much productive and better way of living.
This organization has been in community service for a long period of time.
For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10.
It is a place where we can fulfill the calling to do good work by considering the poor.
Having spent some time with the ICM family on the beautiful island of Palawan, Philippines, where ICM operates from, I witnessed first-hand the life-changing impact ICM bestowed on communities in need. Unlike other NGOs which I have worked and partnered with before, ICM employs evidence-based strategies and monitors performance indicators to iteratively modify existing and novel programmes to ensure optimal sustainability and maximum impact on the population that they are helping. The frugal usage of funds blessed by their benevolent donors through well-audited processes and accountability mechanisms ensure that every penny is stretched, and every life is blessed.
The programmes that ICM runs are innovative, holistic, but most importantly people-centred. People, both staff and beneficiaries are at the core of ICM. Applying a hub and spoke model whereby passionate and responsible pastors and community leaders are empowered to act as the "hub" to reach out as "the spokes" to the most in-need and hard to reach people in the community. Such a bottom-up, community activation model has been serving well in the most far-flung of regions whereby ICM aims to pull people out of ultra-poverty.
As ICM expands into more regions in the Philippines and the rest of the world, I wish them all the best. Alleviating ultra-poverty is a tall order, but with God's blessings and everyone's commitment to the cause, taking the next step towards poverty reduction does not seem all that insurmountable.
ICM is a wonderful organization that helps the poorest of the poor, the marginalized and society’s forgotten. It not only provides financial aid to alleviate them from their plight but also provides education, values and support to ensure the transformation of the future generation.
It’s humbling and fulfilling to get involved with the Transform Progran for 2 consecutive years now... and counting... we choose to not reveal our organization.
After volunteering after a major typhoon in the Philippines, and in view of my job role as the COO of an international bank at the time, I was looking for a charity that could combine the focus on alleviating poverty while providing transparent data that could allow sponsorship by multinational corporate organisations. ICM fit the bill! With over 50 million data points tracking the progress of every dollar into material outcomes such as improvements in income, education, livelihood and even hope, ICM impresses on the written page as well as on the ground. I was fortunate enough to participate in two site visits and see the programmes in action - the enclosed photos are from a trip to the city of Bacolod and a fishing village community. It is a point of pride to be involved, albeit a very small role, in this organisation.
Amazing stories of how they have been able to alleviate poverty in our country. Very inspiring and a beacon of hope to many Filipinos .
We arranged a meal packing event at PayPal Philippines, Inc. and everyone was involved and ICM made this possible and to complete my experience, I even had a chance to help in the distribution in Iloilo and I experienced first hand what ICM was doing for our fellowmen.. it was heartbreaking to see their situation but so inspiring and overwhelming what ICM has continuously doing for our fellow men living at the ultrapoor areas. Hats off! I truly am grateful for ICM for what they do and still do... God bless your good hearts!
True to its mission and vision! Very adaptive to the present needs of the ultrapoor! Integrity is being uphold on its program
Working from ICM's Hong Kong office has been such a rewarding experience! It's fascinating to witness all the behind-the-scenes time and effort it takes to keep their Philippines bases functioning. ICM has a truly singular NGO model in Asia—they recognise that successfully lifting people out of ultra-poverty requires not only subsistence, but a holistic approach, which ICM delivers efficiently with their business-minded strategies. I appreciate how the staff has been vigilant about keeping me engaged and comfortable as a volunteer. It pays off when I hear the amazing transformation stories of our beneficiaries - all of which wouldn't be possible without the hardworking pastors and ICM staff on the front lines.
I recently spent 10 days in the Philippines touring the ICM oeprations at three of their bases. I have never seen this level of efficiency derived from the business leadership of David Sutherland, combined with local staff that all grew up in the ultra-poor conditions of the families they serve and a laser focus on the poorest of the poor. They provide values, livelihood and health education along with practical community development centered around a network of 1800 local leaders. I have toured hundreds of charities, and was deeply impressed by the scale and impact they are having with people that earn less than 40 cents a day.
