Mission: Child development program
Programs: The headstart program is funded to serve pre-schoolchildren, ages 3 to 5 years. Headstart provided for200 children with 94 employees and 225 volunteers to carry out our objectives cost of food for breakfast, lunch and snacks program provided daycare services for preschool age children of low income families. This allows the parents to seek meaningful job opportunities without the burden of high daycare costs. Eight employees and a substitute operate centers in yancey and mitchell counties, north carolina.
