Interfaith Caring Ministries helps those who normally are able to pay their bills monthly but may have experienced something unexpected such as an illness, job loss, etc. They provide support with rent and utilities. They also provide food with their food pantry.

I am in my third year of a 3 year term as a Board member of Interfaith Caring Ministries. I have been very impressed with the dedication and effectiveness of the Board, the paid staff, and the many volunteers in helping local families, individuals, and seniors in need. It is amazing how much is accomplished by this organization. It has been a rewarding experience for me, and I consider it a privilege to serve on the Board.

The administrative staff and interviewers provide compassionate, timely and thorough support to clients seeking much needed nutritional and financial help for rent or utilities. ICM supplies additional information and agencies that could fulfill the clients needs.

I have been volunteering with ICM for a little over a year now. Everyone is so kind and always willing to go the extra mile to help clients. It feels AMAZING to be part of ICM’s efforts to make a difference in the community.

I have volunteered for Interfaith Caring Ministries for four years. I have seen many people come and go. Each client with a unique problem and situation. I have witnessed the kindness, honesty, and compassion given to each of these clients. They came in with such lost and hopeless looks upon their faces. As they leave they stood taller and were able to laugh, knowing that help had been provided. I can safely say that in each situation the dignity the individuals needed had been restored. The employees and volunteers do all they can to make sure the enviornment stays safe and confidential.

I am proud to be a volunteer for ICM. Each of the employees give their all for the opportunity to help. We strive to reach out to each family or individual to give back to them what they have lost...hope. We want the clients to know they are not a number, nor a file. But a person who matters as much as anyone else. Someone that just needs a helping hand to have the chance to keep the roof over their heads or food on their tables.

Interfaith Caring Ministries provides assistance to those in need in its community. Even more so, though, the compassionate staff provides genuine concern and care for those they serve. ICM is about more than providing assistance, it is about caring for and loving the whole person.

I am thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful ministry in, and to our community. Interfaith ministry is a beacon of hope, healing and resource to many and they do an amazing job of bringing our community together. The Director and her staff not only possess a warmth and compassion to those in need, but they carry out their mission with a great commitment to character and excellence. We are proud to partner in ministry with Interfaith and many in our congregation can attest to being helped toward self-sufficiency!

Interfaith Caring Ministries is an organization that I find to be worth donating a large part of my life to. That is a huge statement...life is precious and for me to be willing to use hours of my life every week to help them in their cause means they are really doing something worthwhile. I have seen the faces of people who receive food, money, gas cards, school supplies, clothes and Christmas toys for their children. The look on their faces shows what a difference ICM has made in their lives. I believe God works through the staff and volunteers and He is smiling at the good work they do!!

This agency helps change the lives of "friends" in our community. The community and volunteers have supported the agency for nearly 26 years. The BEST experience I ever had, was the EXCITEMENT and the look on a 4 year old boy's face, when he recieved a new pair of Batman
PJ's. Sometimes its the little things.

I started out as a volunteer at ICM in 1988 in the food pantry and later moved to interviewing clients. ICM serves a need that is met nowhere else in our community. The food assistance is the least of what ICM does and yet it makes a major difference in the lives of clients. The Christmas store, medication assistance and more make the lives of the working poor in our area better.
