Mission: Institute for Natural medicine (INM) supports balanced and informed healthcare choices for the American public by assisting them with accurate and appropriate information about natural medicine. Our mission is to provide support and help patients to meet and exceed their health expectations by providing innovative and creative means to discover and access natural medicine.
Results: Our website naturalmed.org is a trusted guide for people seeking accurate and trustworthy information on natural medicine. We have the largest database of licensed naturopathic doctors on our Find an ND page. Our Naturally Well childhood nutrition education program has educated hundreds of children. We are supporting original program research on Food as Medicine to address chronic disease and in treating long haul covid in community healthcare settings. We support an innovative Residency Consortium in 3 states focused on primary care naturopathic medicine. We host 84 organizations in a collaborative to enable join fundraising across the profession. Programs: The INM is in the process of designing an interactive website that will provide the general public with accurate information on natural health and natural healing. Formed an MD - DO Advisory board of leaders to address interprofessional advocacy and to inform the Board of Directors on concepts that will sustain and strengthen its mission and vision. Provided new platforms for public education including the ND minute, a video interview series "the ND will see you now", and a new podcast series.
