Let me begin by stating that my daughter is 16 and has Down syndrome. She is quite introverted at times and doesn't have many friends unfortunately. The Inspire Equine Therapy Program has really allowed her to blossom and brought her out of her shell. The interaction she has with these kind patient horses makes her feel relaxed and brings her an extensive amount of joy! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. As for the staff, theirs isn't a more fitting group of people to do this job. I absolutely recommend the Inspire Equine Therapy Program to everyone who needs a positive impact on their special needs child.

Since inception, of Inspire Equine Therapy Program, this center has been nothing but a blessing to my daughter Kaylee. Her love for horses has grown while social skills have been allowed to blossom because of the wonderful people that visit and she gets to encounter.
The volunteers are over the top when it comes to encouraging her on her strengths. While at the same time they are helping to reach goals that have been determined by myself and Director Melissa Yarborough. The facility is perfect for their seven wonderful, loving and gentle horses. Every Saturday is always one of those "Best days ever", when Kaylee wakes up in the morning.....

Inspire Equine Therapy horseback riding program is a certified Therpuetical program helping children and adults with all types of neurodiversities. Melissa Yarborough is the director and has a special touch with the students. My daughter has been riding horses for the past 15 years. She loves her experiences at Inspire. She is continually challenged to the next level. Each student has an individual plan Melissa works through with them. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and the program well-organized. I recommend Inspire to everyone!

INSPIRE came along at just the right time! Equestrian therapy in this area is limited, and when the only option was placing my daughter on a waiting list with another program INSPIRE opened its doors. My daughter Tiana (T) absolutely loves interacting with the horses. Not only has it helped her physically, but mentally, and emotionally as well. T was born with a rare brain disorder which includes developmental & speech delays, sensory issues, and autism. This therapeutic program has offered my daughter an invaluable opportunity of healing and growth, while allowing her to build friendships along the way. We are thankful for the owners, and all of the volunteers who are making this happen. Sincerely, April & T xo (April Kinney Corbett)

It's been 13 years since I lost my eyes in the war and suffered other severe permanent injuries. I have gone through countless rehabilitation and therapy programs, never once was I told about Equine therapy until I met the people at Inspire. I had never been around a horse or on one before so I was very nervous. Once I met Bear I realized he was a gentle giant. I could not believe how big he was, for the first 30 mins I brushed him and got to know him. It was a very calming experience, something so majestic and so large just stood there and allowed me to bond with him. When I finally got on Bear I was very nervous, I was unsure of how I would do since I am unable to see. I learned very fast that a Bear would take care of me and have my back just as my fellow Marines would. Inspire Equine Therapy Program is life changing. If you suffer from PTSD or TBI reach out to them, let them help you with your Post Traumatic Growth.

Inspire Equine Therapy horseback riding program is part of PATH International, a certified Therpuetical program helping children and adults with disabilities and all abilities. The setting is spectacular nestled in a neighborhood in mid Pinellas county off Bellair road and US 19. It's providing my daughter with horseback riding and caring for the horses by grooming and cleaning up. It's amazing that a program like this exists in Pinellas county. It's peaceful and the Director Melissa Yarborough is wonderful and her volunteer staff is top notch. My daughter attended a summer camp for the first time in her life because of this locally operated program. I highly recommend this program to anyone who has disabilities!

I came to the open house to learn more about volunteering and was so impressed that I joined the volunteers every Saturday. this is a great experience and makes me feel good to help others less fortunate than I. all the organizers and other volunteers are extremely knowledgable and helpful. I love being a part of this non-profit organization and I love working with all the horses. I love horses and am fortunate to be able to work and learn more about horsemanship with these knowledgable people. I am grateful to be a part of this group.

Melissa has been my son's therapeutic riding instructor for at least 6 years and driving instructor for 3. He has gone from being a reclusive 11 year old book worm (with too many sensory issues to enjoy the outdoors) to a confident rider and leader among his friends. Now she has started her own program at the beautiful Creek under the Son Stables. We are thrilled to continue his lessons here and help in every way we can. This is a beautiful, extremely well kept facility. These horses are amazing therapy and under Melissa's guidance I truly believe the sky is the limit!
