Programs: Under the cooperative agreement 2015-ta-ax-k020 inspire continued to implement its immersion training. Immersion training provided justice for families grantees and their project partners with the skills and tools necessary to provide supervised visitation and safe exchange services in line with the ovw supervised visitation guiding principles. Over the course of the award, inspire continues to deliver their existing in-person immersion training to jff grantees and provide ongoing support to participants through virtual technical assistance.
under the cooperative agreement 2016-ta-ax-k009 inspire developed an additional training curriculum to dive deeply into practice and policy specific to working with children and youth exposed to violence in supervised visitation programs. Inspire has provided training and support to supervised visitation programs and communities working to shift practices and improve the safety, resilience, and well-being for children exposed to violence.
under the cooperative agreement 2017-ta-ax-k028 inspire is providing justice for families grantees and their project partners specialized training and technical assistance focused on enhancing and expanding the supervised visitation and safe exchange capacity of justice for families and tribal governments program grantees. The "inspired ta and training" will help support and enhance ovw grant programs and communities providing and/or developing supervised visitation and safe exchange services for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, child sexual abuse, and dating violence. Inspire will provide ongoing technical assistance and training to grantees.
