Mission: Insight collaborative is dedicated to resolving conflict and improving relationships around the world. Through conflict management education and dispute resolution services, we maximize the ability of individuals and organizations to promote peace, operate efficiently, and to effect positive change.
Programs: Ic continued to expand the peace education project in uganda. We worked with two primary schools and provided conflict resolution training to teachers to educate school children and their communities on prevention of violence.
ic teaches others a systematic framework designed for preparing, conducting, and measuring success in real world negotiations. Participants get advice on recognizing and dealing with difficult tactics and challenging negotiation situations. They will learn how to develop negotiation skills needed to get better substantive results without damaging working relationships.
one insight fellow had two international placements in two foreign countries. The fellow started the year in tamale, ghana with saha global where the fellow conducted trainings for both office and field staff in effective communication, team dynamics workshop and conflict management. The fellow provided consulting services for management as the company designed plans to scale and made important decisions about company culture. Also, the fellow made significant written contributions to the new employee training manual. The next placement was in gulu, uganda with our peace education project. In gulu, the fellow led a 3 day workshop for 15 teachers in effective communication, conflict management and produced a report on the future prospects of the peace education project.
