Each home provides a home-like environment for three to six adults (aged 18 and up) with developmental disabilities. The staff in the home provides 24 hour care. Each home is licensed by the state of north carolina and 13 of the 15 homes were built through funding from the department of housing and urban development.
community works/caet: this program is offered to group home residents as an alternative to attending a workshop environment during the day. This is a program designed to get customers out into the community by determining their interests. Customers attend classes, do volunteer work, look for employment, and participate in various community activities.
