Causes: Leadership Development
Mission: The inland empire sponsoring committee is a nonprofit organization that works with congregations, nonprofits, unions, and schools, for the empowerment of its members for the public good.
Programs: Empowerment for the public good was accomplished through:engaged over 400 local residents in strategic collective action to address issues of common concern including neighborhood improvement & safety, housing insecurity, and the profliferation of poorly-managed recycling and waste-related facilities in areas with vulnerable populations. Provided intensive leadership training to equip 180 leaders from 35 institutions with essential skills for public life.
