Mission: Our mission is to guide young people toward high standards of scholarship and citizenship, an appreciation of the arts, and sound physical, social and intellectual growth in a nuturing environment. We encourage our students to develop a sense of curiosity and to display empathy and respect for one another. We value hard work, and want our students to experience the rewards of self-discipline and the excitement of discovery. Our intent is to develop responsible citizens for a diverse and changing world.
Programs: Elementary education - the independent day school was founded in 1961. It is located on 70 acres next to the laurel brook reservoir in middlefield, ct. The school is a coeducational non-sectarian elementary school of approximately 164 boys and girls from age three through grade eight.
