I have worked with In Him Christian Wellness for several years now and it is one of my favorite places to be. The staff offer authentic and excellent care to one another and their clients and work well together.

I have been volunteering at In Him since 11/21. I am now retired, but when I was working I helped companies with strategic planning and one important component of improving your company was improving the culture. I wasn't volunteering too long before I realized I was part of a culture that companies could only dream about. It starts at the top with the leadership truly understanding what servanthood leadership really is. It comes natural to them and it permeates the organization. As a result the clinicians care so much for their clients that they experience the best counseling you can receive. And with a lot of the counseling being faith based it is truly is exceptional. In addition, we don't turn anyone away that cannot afford counseling. We are here to serve and heal....

In Him Christian Wellness is an organization that is filled with people who are genuine and well equipped to help people on their journey in this life. As a volunteer for In Him I have seen the interactions between client and our staff and all are honest and filled with the love of God being poured out. I see the smiling faces of the clients leaving the massage sessions. I see the beautiful art that is created during time with our art therapist. I see healing and hope on the faces of those coming out of a clinical therapy session. It is my privilege to help out in the Shrewsbury, PA. office and I am always blessed during my time there as I interact with clients and the In Him folks. There is a culture of honor in this place that allows the guest to receive healing. The people here really care about helping others.

When I came to IHCW, I was very deep in depression and stressed out over a family issue. I basically came for counseling to affirm my solution to this issue. I remember at my first session just sitting with my head hung low, unable to look the counselor in the face. When I shared my ideas for resolving the issue, I was told to not do anything rash, to wait until I had a few sessions under my belt then revisit my plans. Of course, after a few visits, I was looking at things in a slightly different way. I realize if I would have proceeded with my plans, I would have created a broken relationship.

My counselor was able to help me excavate who I really am, to get in touch with the real me. I had been living behind a facade for most of my life, trying to be who I thought people wanted me to be instead of who God created me to be. I gained the courage to be true to myself and live my life more fully. The transformation didn't happen overnight and is still ongoing. But my relationships have improved, my faith has grown stronger, and my understanding of who God is and how much he loves me has been an incredible blessing. And the family issue that sent me to seek counseling? The relationship is better than ever!

In Him Christian Wellness truly exemplifies an organization that fully intends to serve the surrounding community and meet needs where there are any. The clinicians are genuine individuals that are dedicated to loving clients well and giving them the listening ear they need. I recommend In Him for all individuals looking for a Christ-centered therapist that will go above and beyond to lead clients to a greater understanding of themselves and God amidst successes and trials.

This is a wonderful place to work. I have seen so much healing and growth happen at In Him, and not just for the clients but for the staff as well. It is a joy to co-labor with these people in our integrative approach and is a real testament to all of us being one body. A deep love for people is so evident in each of our staff and our clients are among those affected by it. Transforming lives through love is our calling.

In Him Christian Wellness puts the client first which is very evident in how they approach everything that they do. They provide a very relational yet professional experience with any of their counselors on staff. Their holistic approach to counseling is the thing that sets them apart in a great way from general counseling.

I've had a great experience with In Him Christian Wellness and I expect it to continue. I've seen the staff acting concerned and kind, with the confidence that the Lord is helping to direct them and the clients. I was at first, a client and my position has moved to a board member. I didn't have to wait for my first appointment, was comforted in the warm reception, and sure that my continued therapy sessions would be productive. I know that my issues were identified and effectively addressed. I'm currently retired after 30+ years providing social work in the foster care/adoption field, so I'm aware of how to address therapeutic issues. My expectations were surpassed. Jon was my therapist, and he was assured enough of my newly established wellness that he invited me to serve on the board of directors. Though I feel somewhat vulnerable in this position, I've been affirmed through what contributions I've been able to share. I'm amazed at how the Lord has opened doors for In Him Christian Wellness to expand its outreach to all members of the general community regardless of race, faith, or financial status.

The business aspect of scheduling appointments and collecting payments is easy to do and their website is user-friendly. Every aspect of the non-profit is thought through with the client's best interest in mind. I would recommend this counseling agency to anyone.

In Him Christian Wellness is a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to clients, regardless of their ability to pay. They take a holistic approach to treatment planning and work to promote wellness from multiple angles depending on the client's needs.

I work in the building where In Him Christian Wellness has its Carlisle office. I have been impressed at how their staff not only cares for its clients, but for all of the people coming in and our of our building. They are an energetic and friendly bunch who seem to light up the place. They care about people. The most amazing thing I have seen them do is strategize ways to make Mental Health services available to those in need who cannot afford it.

As a client, I found my counselor to be professional, personable, and highly skilled. In a calm and gentle way I was helped to deal with a significant issue in my life.
I have also found In Him to be a strong partner with other non-profits and community initiatives in my neighborhood. Their depth of caring and integrity are impressive.

In Him is solely focused on helping others in our community. Dedicated and professional staff members with willing spirits make for a great place to be employed and served by. The medical and mental health field has become increasingly more business oriented, so it is refreshing to see an aspect of this being done for different reasons.

This is a great place to work, and fully staffed by clinically trained and qualified professionals. I fully believe in the cause of providing mental health and wellness to those who otherwise can't afford mental health care, nutrition or financial services, or are un- or underinsured.
