Mission: The specific purpose of this corporation is to provide charitable, literary and educational programs for the health and well being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, family, friends, and allies and cummunity by connecting them to essential resources and support services. This is accomplished through, but not limited to the recruitment of volunteers for community outreach, counceling, training, advocacy and outreach to the churches and community.
Programs: The organization provided assistance with counseling, drug abuse education and prevention, hiv counseling and testing, anger managment, various youth programs and the pride events.
Located in Imperial County near the border of Mexicali, Mexico, the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers services free of charge: counseling, HIV testing, anger management, support groups for parents, youth, transgender and many activities.
