Mission: The association offers a multiple listing service (mls) to its members so they may display their listings to members and to the public. It offers real estate products for sale,such as lockboxes and other real estate related products. Sponsors educational classes to members and non-members, some classes offer continuing education credits to renew real estate licenses. These three activities are ongoing. The association holds a fundraiser for a local charity yearly. Casa of imperial valley received funds in 2017. Other public community gatherings are held throughout the year.
Programs: Maintaining the accuracy of the imperial county multiple listing service is the major program service accomplishment for the association. Members abide by a strict code of ethics of realtors and may use the trademark. The mls service fees collected are used to pay their vendor to maintain the confidential information in the mls.
a variety of training and educational classes and seminars are offered to members, locally as well as throughout the state and nationally. The goal is to help the realtors gain the knowledge and expertise necessary to best serve their clients. They are provided opportunities to increase their knowledge of the real estate market trends.

traditionally, each year, the association sponsors a community event to raise funds for the benefit of a local charity. This year the association held a wine tasting and donated the proceeds to casa, a 501(c)(3). Every year the association also holds an installation dinner for its new officers.
