ALL individual donations of $1000 combined into grants of roughly $100,000 for programs focussing on five areas: health, family, education, arts, environment. Proposals thoroughly evaluated by member committees who combine wide-ranging experience and skills. Any member can participate in the evaluations through committees and site visits. it's a thoroughly enjoyable and eye-opening experience. Grants carefully monitored for appropriate implementation, so you can be comfortable that your donation is spent as intended. Grantees often attract new sources of funding and other support once they have won an Impact 100 grant. In this way, one donation can be leveraged into many...an effective way for an individual to have real impact.

IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area is a women's philanthropic organization in which women donate $1,000 annually and the organization awards grants to non-profit organizations in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties (in Florida) in increments of $100,000. The organization is managed by an entirely volunteer board of directors. Administrative expenses are defrayed by interest earned on grant funds and additional donations from members and the local community. Since the inception of IMPACT 100 in 2004, the organization has awarded 39 grants to 34 different non-profit agencies for a total of $4,315,000. In 2013, 836 women have joined and in October, we will award 8 grants of $104,000 in the areas of arts and culture; education; environment, recreation & preservation; family and health and wellness. We have fed the hungry, provided healthcare for the uninsured and medically needy, and improved educational opportunities for the youth of our community.
