Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Arts & Culture, Arts, Culture & Humanities
Mission: The bakersfield regional ballet strives to support the dreams and development of dancers throughout the central valley and the state of california. We are committed to providing exceptional dance performances, outreach for the local community, as well as educating children and promoting the arts.
Target demographics: Young women and men interested in ballet pursue their passion to dance in college or professionally. We provide experiential learning which not only teaches ballet, it also builds and reinforces poise, self-confidence, teamwork, accountability, and reliability
Direct beneficiaries per year: Ballet classes at The Boys and Girls Club of Kern County. Each member of the company ages 12 through 18.
Geographic areas served: Bakersfield, California
Programs: Weekly company classes, multiple performances, access to master classes. Opportunities to work with the Boys and Girls Club of Kern County teaching young children. Our annual Nutcracker Tea, Pints en Pointe, and Classics for the Community.
