Causes: Education, Literacy, Remedial Reading & Encouragement
Mission: To deliver books monthly to homes of the children of grant county thereby promoting experiences with language and reading, and establishing the basis for future learning success and to promote and expand dolly parton's imagination library throughout the state of new mexico.
Programs: The organization delivers books to infants, toddlers and preschool children directly to their homes.
I chose to donate to Imagination Library of Grant County, Inc. because of the importance of childhood literacy, the needs of the population it serves and the ethics of the founders. The funds I donated went directly to services and books for kids and families, not overhead. Their mission is clear and their efforts are relentless. Their current research projects are exciting.
