Mission: To provide technical assistance, training and a strong representative voice for the benefit of idaho's water and wastewater systems.
Programs: Circuit rider - assist water systems under 10,000 people to become viable and to obtain compliance with the safe drinking water act: approx. 870 served.
wastewater - provide technical assistance to rural development funded and potentially funded wastewater systems; approx. 720 served.
sourcewater - provide assistance to rural and small communities in the formation and implementation of source water protection plans in an effort to reduce or eliminate the potential risks to drinking water supplies.
epa technical - provides training and technical assistance to personnel of rural and small public water supply systems; approximately 200 served. Association training provide training to water and wastewater operators to assist in obtaining their state required licenses and to assist in retaining licensure by providing continuing education; approx. 900 served.
