I recently relocated to Atlanta, and wanted to offer volunteer services, while seeking a new full time position. Having a background in healthcare, it was important to me to volunteer for an organization that is truly dedicated to being compassionate, supportive, and healing. I came across 'I Will Survive, Inc' during my search and immediately resonated with the healing endeavors and message of 'I Will Survive'. In my own way, I was on a personal path of renewal and healing. When you walk into the space of I Will Survive, Inc, you immediately can feel the warm, healing energy, you know that you are welcomed in a true safe haven of compassion. Such a wonderful place with wonderful caring people. Miss Anisa Palmer, the Founder of I Will Survive, Inc. is a true beacon of compassion, strength, wisdom, warmth, and guidance. All of the staff of volunteers were also wonderfully warm and compassionate, each bringing a special sense of care and giving. I was inspired in meeting each Survivor, witnessing their vulnerability and beautiful strength. I have had wonderful, endearing moments sharing with them warm words and hugs, soft laughter, and bright smiles of compassion. I will always treasure my experience at I Will Survive, Inc, and support this organization for it's wonderful, compassionate, healing, good works.
Although I have been blessed to not need the services of I Will Survive Inc., I have also been blessed to know the founder and to consider her a dear friend. Having served in a variety of roles within the Atlanta community and abroad, it is clear when leaders have a personal passion regarding their role. Anisa has this passion and has executed her plan, pivoting when necessary, to help others.
The world needs more leaders like Anisa and those served by I Will Survie Inc., are fortunate.

I'm so grateful for I Will Survive Inc. because they were there for my mom and me when no one else would. I wish we had more dedicated organizations like them that truly cares for cancer survivors and their caregivers.
My name is Michelle and my mother Helen is a 3 year breast cancer survivor. If it wasn't for I Will Survive I don't know where my mom and I would be. I Will Survive is truly a caring, supportive, loving, and generous organization. I wish it was more organizations like them. I can honestly say they do what they say they will do. Huge thumbs up for I Will Survive!!!!!!!
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2014 and unaware of the actual medical cost. When I received all my bills I was overwhelmed. I am a Social Worker and find resources for people. I went on the search for my own resources and I Will Survive Inc. contacted me and stated they were paying money towards one of my bills. I was overjoyed!!!! Recently, I modeled in a fashion show sponsored by I Will Survive Inc. and met many Breast Cancer Survivors. Made a new friend. It was an awesome event. Thank you I Will Survive Inc. You blessed my life.

What a great place to volunteer. I am honored to have been able to serve with so many amazing people at a community event.
I will Survive has helped me on several occasions with support through providing access to counseling, emotional support and also basic food supplies once or twice. I love especially how IWS focuses on providing health and nutrition information which is an essential to any recovery as well as for the upkeep of a positive mental and emotional well being. Helping me over the bumps in the road of life, IWS has a crew of volunteers that are always smiling and always willing to assist in whatever needs to be accomplished.
I will survive is a phenomenal organization lead by a passionate and dedicated Leader with a staff to match! I have been a supporter of their efforts since inception and have watched them grow and continue to touch lives and make them better. Cancer is a devastating illness and it comforts me to know that this organization is doing all it can to find a cure and help victims and their families along the way. Anisa Palmer , the founder and soldier of this movement, is a shining example of Leadership and integrity. Her efforts to bring comfort and assistance to patients, survivors, and their families are above and beyond expectations. Please support her efforts and this great cause!
I will Survive changed my life completely in so many ways. The Director Anisa Palmer connected to my fears, my loneliness, my abandonment of friends. She was able to help me get through days when I wanted to give up. My Journey has been filled with mixed emotions and uncertainty and every time I felt perplexed I Will Survive found a way to keep me in my apartment. I am forever greatful for the unwavering support and I plan to help others in the same way once I'm back on my feet. I Will Survive is my life line. Thank for helping me Survive
What a great organization to support that serves the metro Atlanta area under United Ways 211 affiliated program.
I serve as a volunteer for this organization. I also serve as the Founder and Executive Director. This organization is my life. I lost my mother to breast cancer and decided to start this organization after my service in the military. Please help us give back to our community by giving time, talent, and treasure to support our mission. Our mission is to increase breast cancer awareness through education and provide funding in lower income communities.
