I-Help stays true to its mission to assist and empower the communities it serves. Truly a pleasure to be associated with such a fine organization. The free first aid seminar they hold annually for kids from low income homes. Exposing them to the healthcare industry is just one example of many they do to make a difference. I-Help Foundation is truly a non-profit that spreads care and love for the community through spreading awareness about healthcare. We were invited to Stop the Bleed, which truly allowed us to learn how to take care of people who are in emergency situations. After this event, I have been able to participate in numerous community events with I-Help, including health screenings. They have also partnered with other organizations in the community, which shows collaboration. A wonderful non-profit changing the community and influencing the youth of tomorrow!

I-Help Foundation has been true to its core value which is to increase health awareness as well as to advocate for youths throughout various communities. However, it’s impact has been much more than health awareness. The foundation continues to expand its reach. This can be seen as the team has crossed the borders of the US to touch the lives and spread love to those in need. Some of these places include Haiti and Jamaica (Caribbean countries). I believe there are lot more lives to be touched by this team. As someone who is interested in youth development and community development, I believe I-Help is doing an awesome job. However, for a much bigger impact, our help and contribution is needed. Congrats to the I-Help team on the work they have done and all the best on the upcoming activities.

Awesome mission and vision to the greater LA area. This visionary organization is grassroots. It is in touch with basic human needs, seeking to raise people to positions of promise while meeting basic needs and incorporating people across the lifespan into community. An example is their community garden: Elders mentoring youngsters. Everyone learns and grows fresh produce, then share, with utter satisfaction.
I-Help Foundation LA supports education for those who have little support...sees it through in a multitude of ways. It provides something for everyone to assist people reaching for higher ground.
This foundation has honored unsunged health professionals over Los Angeles County, who would never get recognized publicly. I had the privilege of attending the ceremony last year it was phenomenal to see the recognition and also the keynote speakers provided on point information about the new and upcoming health technology. I attended a presentation on innovation and technology in healthcare and it was extremely informative and uniquely presented that included speakers, case studies, experts, and young adults. In addition, it was apparent that the guest speakers were carefully chosen as evidenced by their expertise, poise, and commitment to the vision and mission of the foundation. I came away with a solid understanding of how I can, as an individual, make a difference in helping to ameliorate some of the complexities of healthcare and how innovation can improve better patient outcomes and advocacy for vulnerable populations.
