Mission: The mission of i care san antonio is to provide vision care; including medical, surgical and eye glasses, to those who cannot afford it and to support international healthcare ministries in impoverished countries.
Programs: I care vision center provided 1,015,635 worth of vision care to low income and homeless people living in san antonio and the surrounding counties. Patient care included: 6,422 total patient visits which 1,269 were new patients, 3,579 diagnostic tests, 829 laser surgeries and major procedures, 2,005 eyeglasses distributed, 6,690 medical services cases, 177,341 medications provided.
icare4kids is i care san antonio's children's programming including a one day event where volunteers helped 230 children receive free eye exams and glasses.
i care global missions helps support teams serving in the medical needs of the underserved in third world countries.

I am a volunteer doctor at I Care's Vision Center. The staff is tremendous, treating our patients and other volunteers extremely well. They are very compassionate, professional and efficient. The clinic is very well equipped and there is lots of help. All of the volunteer doctors are excellent and very dedicated. I am blessed to be a part of I Care San Antonio
