I got involved with I-5 Freedom Network a couple of years ago. They are dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking, educating our community and beyond. It’s a great nonprofit organization that truly cares about human trafficking.

I became involved with the i-5 Freedom Network nine years ago when I discovered the work they were doing in our community to build awareness and support survivors of human trafficking. This is truly a unique nonprofit in their unwavering vision and commitment to their cause. Discovering that building a community is one of the most important ways survivors feel valued, supported and motivated, the i-5 has addressed this need specifically with a unique, survivor created and lead, program with an immense amount of support for all the concerns of a survivor: confidence building, speaking skills, affirmations, step-by-step self-care lessons and so much more. This course would benefit anyone but is geared specifically to the needs of someone who, through human trafficking, was denied the ability to build her/his own skills. They have also helped to create and push for laws to deter traffickers, trained hotel staff to recognize trafficking, and held fundraisers, meetings, and groups to spread the word. I will continue to support this dedicated and hardworking organization whenever I can.

I am grateful for i-5's education and an amazing course provided by this organization. I was blessed to take this course for 2 months (Dale Carnegie Course). and have nothing but excellent feedback for the leader and the entire. Everyone was extremely kind, non-judgmental and very supportive. I appreciate their constant support for the victims of the human trafficking, their expertise, and highly professional approach to serve clients and their communities. THAANK YOU SO MUCH !!

A great anti-human trafficking nonprofit that supports local community.

Brenda and her team have an amazing anti-human trafficking non-profit that not only educates our community in San Clemente (and beyond), but takes action by actually providing supportive programs and housing to the survivors of human trafficking. I have been to an event and understand what a vital need we have in our area, and a thankful this is so active in my home town.

The I-5 Freedom Network has positively impacted many survivors and is a strong positive force in the world of human trafficking. The life skills they provide to the survivors is what gives the survivors a feeling that they can move forward. Educating hotels, communities and all those associated with human trafficking is their key to success. They create solutions while helping to empower survivors. This is by far the best organization I have been honored to be a part of. I highly suggest you learn more about the I-5 by attending our yearly Big. Cheese Event and help us help those who need us.

I-5 Freedom Network is innovative and heart-felt in everything they do, from community awareness to grant writing to meeting one-on-one with business owners and local politicians. I have seen them operate from the very beginning and have been nothing short of amazed at the work they have done! I had them come and do a presentation to my company, as our technicians are in people's homes and need to be aware of the potential for trafficking. After the training, several of them came to me and remarked that, in hindsight, they had seen signs of illegal activity. What a difference that has made!

I-5 Freedom Network is working in partnership with the City of San Clemente Public Safety Committee to fight human trafficking in local hotels and affected businesses. Participating businesses receive recognition by the City Council and receive award plaques for display at their locations.

Great organization with amazing people and orientation towards service, community, and survivors. Doesn't get any better!

I5 Freedom Network is an organization with a wonderful mission. It brings awareness to a social issue AND most importantly, it creates solutions by empowering survivors. Happy to be a supporter, donor, and contribute as a Trainer, too.

I first heard about i-5 Freedom Network at a women's leadership retreat with another organization. i-5 Freedom Network did a presentation on leadership skills. I started following their work, and as a survivor, I was very impressed with the work that I saw they did. I attended an online seminar for survivors, and then was offered the opportunity to take a "Skills for Success" workshop for 8 weeks. After that, I started volunteering with them. I've seen firsthand the benefit that their programs bring to the community, the hospitality industry and survivors. Their focus and genuine dedication to their mission is evident in everything they do, and that makes them one of the best organizations in the fight against Human Trafficking.

Didn’t even know these guys existed until I visited San Clemente and the head office. So impressed at what the have accomplished in such a short period of time.

I-5 Freedom Network fills crucial gaps in aiding victims of trafficking by providing training to hotel personnel to identify traffickers and possible victims, and equipping survivors with work and life skills necessary to thrive. The organization is lean, smart and partners well with other leaders and organizations. They are truly deserving and I’m proud to support them!

I have been a volunteer for many events led by I Freedom Network and have been impressed on all the great community service so organized. The country needs more people like Brenda and Todd and their team who have a heart with the cause of Human Trafficking

Our anti-trafficking non profit, International Sanctuary is also in Orange County. We have loved partnering with I-5 on various local campaigns.

This team is whip smart, trauma informed, and deeply committed to helping to reduce human trafficking in Orange County.

I have attended a few of their events and was blown away by the passion this group has for ending human trafficking. Todd Forester in particular was a pleasure to talk to and his enthusiasm is infectious.

My observation of this organization leads me to conclude how impressed I am - not only with their efforts but with their results as well. Their staff and volunteers are genuinely committed to making San Clemente safe from trafficking.

An amazing origination that has helped an entire community rally around a great cause

I'm a City Counselor with the City of San Juan Capistrano, CA. Without the advocacy and expertise of i5 Freedom Network, we would not have been able to draft and pass aggressive massage parlor ordinances that allow us to fight human trafficking in those establishments. The i5 Freedom Network has built much-needed awareness of the human trafficking scourge that is "invisible in plain sight" in our neighborhoods, a reliable partner, and a God-send to the victims of modern-day slavery.

I have witnessed first hand the impact that i-5 Freedom Network has provided to both Survivors of Human Trafficking and Service Support providers. Participants grow in confidence, communications and leadership skills. A Life CHANGER!
