HMM is an excellent non-profit organization that cares about the community. They recently saw a need at East Lake Elementary and quickly sprung into action! Over the course of a couple of weeks, they secured brand new basketball rims for the court across the street from the school. Not only did they provide the rims, they were able to get an amazing volunteer to put them up. We are so thankful for their service and the great work they are doing in the community!

HMF has truly proved to be one of the best Non-Profit Organizations I have ever worked with. Their prompt communication system and the cordial behaviour of project manager Fenesa was beyond my imagination. I had worked on an Article Writing project for the coloring books that they have put up on sale and my experience working with them was amazing! Provided I get a chance, I definitely look forward to working with them again!

HMF is a community that values kindness and respect. Volunteering for the foundation was an amazing experience that I will never forget. It was an honor being apart of such a great group and I know that it is on track towards being one of the biggest community foundations in the US.

Working with Hunter Memorial Foundation was wonderful! The entire process was great, Fenesa is professional, kind, and patient, and helped in all processes, and we could reach such an amazing result with a beautiful coloring book. As an artist having the opportunity to create work with a true purpose and with an excellent partner as the Hunter Memorial Foundation organization is as I said, wonderful!

National Park Partners and the Chattanooga Historical Society partnered with Rise Chattanooga to host a Fall Break camp for students in 4th and 5th grade and HMF was amazing! Students connected so powerfully with Fenesa and with the story of W.C. Hunter and his career serving students and families. We can't wait to partner again!

It was great working with HMF, especially Fenesa! She was friendly and patient with me. I volunteered to be a designer/artist for one of their projects. After she saw my work, she tasked me with something bigger: creating a comic about the Hunters! It was a a daunting at first, but with her help on the copy, I was able to create something I enjoyed working on until the end. I'm glad that I could help spread the foundation's work and the Hunters' story through my artwork. Thanks for giving me a chance!

It was a pleasure working with an organization that respects and honors its community's arts and culture and is actively trying to keep it alive with its hard work and efforts!

I worked with the Hunter Memorial Foundation to design and create for their coloring book event to promote the art of being kind. I really liked the idea behind the theme, diversity, and thought it would bring some enlightenment to young people who might not fully be aware of what it means. I got to stretch my creative bone on the project, and I'm really excited about this event and how it will all turn out.

It was an amazing experience with HMF because it was my first volunteering experience and I loved it. I volunteered to design a brochure for them and the responses were very supportive. While working n the brochure, I even got to know how ambitious and inspiring the organization is, from HMF's inspiration, about the founder, to their slogan "The Art of being kind". The NGO's executive director, Fenesa Brewer was very friendly and effective in communicating to make this project a huge success. The support they have given me, and the opportunity they gave me to develop my skills will inspire and motivate me to pursue more projects in the future and volunteer for many other NGOs!

I volunteered with HMF to develop their new website. HMF seeks to spread kindness through community, and Fenesa embodies the spirit of the organization. She is welcoming and dedicated and has a clear vision for HMF. All communities would benefit from an organization like HMF that promotes unity through kindness and service.

This non-profit has a lot of potential to spread their message of practicing "the art of being kind" and being "one word, one voice" in a variety of capacities. It seems to be run by persons with big hearts who care about their community. I was honored to be asked to be a spotlighted guest artist as part of their "local artist features." I hope that they can get their message out to a broader audience without confusing people because of the specific early name of their organization that doesn't speak to their now broader mission.

There is no greater work than passionately serving others in need. The Hunter Memorial Mural team has high ideals being fulfilled in the lives they have touched. The Hunter Memorial Mural team's work with the recovery effort of the East Brainerd Tornado aftermath, the Encouragement Line, and the soulful effort to support the local community has enriched many lives. To see The Hunter Memorial Mural into existence to honor the legacy of the quiet servitude of Bishop W.C and Mrs. Hunter's philanthropy will be a crown of glory that will ignite an eternal flame to light the way for many more on the forward road.

The Hunter Memorial Mural, whose slogan is "The Art of Being Kind," has definitely lived up to that mission. The initiative was formed to honor the late Bishop W.C. Hunter and wife Peggy Hunter, who were devoted to showing kindness and generosity toward everyone they encountered. Like the Hunters, the people behind the Hunter Memorial Mural are always on the lookout for people they can help, gaps they can fill, and smiles they can conjure -- especially to those who are hurting. They are quickly building a solid reputation, and are definitely an organization to keep your eye on. I highly recommend this group and look forward to their next endeavors.

The Hunter Memorial Mural (HMM) is a wonderful initiative led by Ms. Fenesa Brewer, dedicated to the memory of Bishop W.C. Hunter and his lifelong contributions to the Greater Chattanooga area. Beginning with a mural to honor him and his wife Peggy - then quickly expanding to a celebration of the Arts - HMM has also sponsored local food drives, donated trees, and supported victims of a violent storm that swept through Chattanooga and left many without a home in early 2020. Like the man who influenced the organization, the selfless individuals who make up HMM never hesitate to rise to the occasion. From small words of encouragement, to local fundraisers in support their cause, they are not only mastering "The Art of Being Kind" but are proving that legacy can survive for generations to come. I recommend this organization without reservation.
