Programs: Facility renovationsthe hunter college foundation supports the repairs, renovation and improvements of the facilities at hunter college such as renovation of the library (the renovation of the 6th and 7th floors was completed in early 2017. In 2018 the foundation is preparing to begin the renovation of the 5th floor of the library. ), upgrade to classrooms and laboratories and purchase of state of the art equipment. This supports the college in its endeavor to offer its students the best facilities and learning environment.

scholarships and grantsthe hunter college foundation distributes a variety of scholarships to deserving students based on criteria such as merit, need, grade point average and declaration of a major course of study. These scholarships play an important role in educating the next generation of citizens and perpetuating the extraordinary hunter community of scholars, students and alumni. Approximately 1,100 students received scholarships through the hunter college foundation in the fiscal year ending june 30, 2017.
