Hunt of a lifetime foundation is amazing. The founder has donated her life to making kids hunting and fishing dreams come true. So many kids dream of hunting or fishing, not going to an amusement park. They make this dream a reality.

Took my son to a hunting show at our local armory and a volunteer from Hunt Of A Lifetime was there. Gave me paperwork for my son. 7 months later he’s hunting elk. What an amazing organization. He absolutely had the time of his life and met some wonderful lifelong friends in the process. And he killed a dream elk in the process. Thank you so much Hunt Of A Lifetime and Wilderness Hunting Lodge in Tennessee. They were phenomenal as well.

Absolutely phenomenal organization. Hunt of a Lifetime provided my son with a once in a lifetime opportunity to hunt moose in Maine in October 2022. We are so greatful for the opportunity that this non-profit provided!

I am writing this on behalf of my son Sawyer Bell, age 9 and his experience with Hunt of a Lifetime. He is one of the most resilient and inspirational kids I have ever been around and well deserving of your consideration. Sawyer is all boy, who loves the outdoors and sports. When Sawyer was just 7, he fell ill with a type of childhood cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma. The next year of his life was spent in various hospitals around the country battling this disease where he underwent chemotherapy, radiation treatment and much more. No matter how horrible the next procedure was going to be he always keep his hopes up of getting back to what he enjoyed most (hunting, fishing, and wrestling). Well, after what seemed like an eternity of watching outdoor TV, in the summer of 2020 Sawyer was cancer free and able to get back to what he loves the most.
As a father I am convinced that Hunt of a Lifetime helped him through his struggles. By giving him something so special to look forward to, an elk hunt, he was able to focus on something in the future and not the day-to-day struggles. Hunt of a Lifetime provides these opportunities so graciously to kids who need them. Their good will impacts so may across the country and I would like to give them our highest recommendation as a world class organization. God bless them.
Please reference the attached video of the hunt HOAL provided us !

Tina P. and the Hunt of A Lifetime Organizations are Angels on Earth! The work that they do is invaluable to kids experiencing horrible health challenges.

In our sos’s case, HOAL, gave him a much needed distraction to his treatments. Six brain operations and two separate sets of radiation was his three year nightmare. While his physicians cared for his physical treatments, HOAL provided him a mental escape. Something to look forward…

We thank Tina and HOAL volunteers for everything that they did for him. Words can’t describe the gratitude that we feel.

My son and I recently went on our Hunt of a Lifetime trip to Newfoundland. My son was able to hunt for a moose because of this amazing organization. From the time we started our journey, this program was wonderful. Everything is very well organized, and Tina is awesome. She helped us through every part of our adventure. This would not have been a trip we would have done without the amazing Hunt of a Lifetime organization.

Ethan is a 14-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy. Do to not being able to walk on his own and having to use a wheel chair there are many things that he doesn’t get to do anymore because of him getting bigger. One of the things we use to do when he was younger and lighter was go hiking in the woods and enjoy nature. He loves the outdoors and being with his family while doing it. Ethan loves to go fishing and that is something we are grateful that we still can make happen for him. He would always enjoy listening to his Grandfather and Brother’s stories of when they would go out hunting and would say I want to go hunting. It was hard to say I know Buddy but your wheelchair won’t go in the woods and we can afford a chair that would. You could see the disappointment on his face and it broke our hearts as we just want him to have as much of a normal life as possible.
One day we were up at Cabela’s for their special needs event and that is were we came across A Hunt of a Life Time. As we were talking to the volunteer I was getting excited as it sounded like we could give Ethan an experience he has always wanted to do. We took home an application and began to fill out the paper work so apply. While doing this we were explaining to Ethan about this adventure and you could tell he was so excited. We submitted our paperwork and waited to hear if Ethan would get picked. The day we got that call I was at work and couldn’t wait to go home and let Ethan know he was going to go hunting like his Grandfather and Brother. He was pumped that night and wouldn’t stop talking about it. We then got the call of were, when and what we would be hunting and boy the grin on his face was priceless.
Ethan told everyone about his hunt if you wanted to listen or not he was going to tell you. We had to explain to him everyday how it was going to happen and the process as he didn’t want to miss anything. The person at Bass Pro Shop that helped us find gear for him couldn’t get over his excitement. After that then when are we going questions started till the night of the trip when he drove to the hunt.
Thank you again for your donations, volunteering your time and hard work to help adventures like this for those that may never be able to experience it with out your help. We are truly blessed to have you part of such a great organization.

Thanks a Million,

Ethan Briner and his family

My name is Nadine my husband and I volenteer for Hunt of a Lifetime in ID. This last year Dec. 2015 we got a rush request for a young man and his family to be able to go on a hunt. The young man has a life threatening disease also, but what was so much worse, the dad had brain cancer and only had about 3 weeks to live and was fadding fast. We sent the rifle out to this family and they drove to a near by state and went hunting while dad was still able to go. That really put Christmas back into prospective for me. It is not the giving of big toys and lots of gifts. It is the gift of life that means so much. This a gift that will live for a lifetime for this young boy and the rest of his family. This made me think how luck I am to have my kids and grandkids close so I can hug them and tell them how much I love them. My husband and I are very grateful to be a part of such a wonderful organization, we are retired and this is a way for us to give back to people in need.

Hunt of a Lifetime is an absolutely wonderful organization. They have helped so many dreams come true for so many children. These children did not ask to have the health problems that they have but they are forced to live with it every day. It is nice to know there is an organization out there that takes away their worries for a little while and helps them fulfill their dreams!

My son Jason is a former recipient of a hunt from Hunt of a Lifetime. The people we worked with were awesome. After the hunt both my son and I started working fund raising events and expo's for Hunt of a Lifetime and when time allows we still do. Tina is a wonderful lady. She is quite busy with her day to day life but she knows most if not all the youth her organization send out. I am quite please we had the opportunities with Hunt of a lifetime.

As a volunteer coordinator for Hunt Of a Lifetime for over 10 years. I have been able to witness the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I have seen trophy antlers go up on several walls and witnessed a son win the race to Jesus. No other organization I know of puts the kids at the TOP more than HOAL. I am forever blessed because of the time I've given to this organization.
