Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: The Humane Society of Tom Green County is dedicated to educating the public about the advantages of spaying and neutering in our area, as well as the humane treatment of animals. We offer discounted vouchers once a month to the public in an effort to reduce pet over-population. Our main goal on a day-to-day basis is to help the animals of the San Angelo City Animal Shelter, where we are currently housed. We try to find adopters, rescues, and fosters to take in the variety of animals the city shelter receives on a daily basis. We have one paid, full-time employee, and we strongly rely on the wonderful volunteers of our community.
