I have never been treated so nicely by anyone. Every person I dealt with was very polite and respectful and professional. They made the whole experience a lot easier for me and I love my puppies Hamilton ( Butch) and Sweeney Toad (Charlie). They are becoming some much a part of my family. I would suggest anyone looking to adopt should definitely check out the Pensacola Humane Society. What a great resource for people and pets.
I have been a volunteer with the Pensacola Humane Society for the last 18 years. Over the time I have been there, I have found that they have a dedicated staff that is compassionate and truly cares about every animal they have in their care. They are truly there for the animals and will do whatever it takes to help an animal in need. Volunteering there is the best part of my week!
The Pensacola Humane Society is a wonderful organization. The employees and volunteers work so hard to help animals in need. They save so many lives. They also work to help get animals spayed and neutered to bring down the homeless animal population in Escambia County.
Volunteering at the Pensacola Humane Society for 8 years, this place is my home away from home. My role is to take care of our cats and kittens 3 times a week, while also training new volunteers and taking care of our outside cat colony. I love volunteering alongside our other awesome volunteers and staff members. I've poured my heart into this organization for the last 8 years and I will continue to do so for as long as I possibly can.
I have volunteered at many places over the years. The Pensacola Humane Society is my favorite. Their commitment to animal welfare is unmatched. I have seen first hand examples of the staff and volunteers going above and beyond to help Pensacola’s animal community. The organization is very well run. The current board of directors, CEO and shelter management is an example of how a non-profit organization should be run.
