Horrible service. Very disorganized. Claims to be a no-kill shelter, yet they put animals down constantly. Horrible management. Humane officer's that are so ignorant that they can't even spell. A disgrace to the community. I wish I could rate this facility in a positive way..but unfortunately that just isn't the case. Cats are sick all the time. The board of directors are a disgrace. They adopt out animals who are clearly sick, without even notifying those who are adopting about the illness. They adopt out dogs that are known to be aggressive and lie to deceive the adopter just to get the animal out of the facility.
To begin with the person that wrote the 1st review is full of crap, for one thing the Humane Officers pay for all of their own stuff, NO SHELTER MONEY is spent on Humane Officers, and all counties have uniforms and accessories to protect them from people like you, not the animals, 2nd HSOC does not put animals down unless a Vet says its for the best, 3rd the board is a lot better now then it was before, at least they have people that care about the animals, and not themselves ,as for sick cats, no answer to that as all shelters have the same problem, the animals are vaccinated see a vet and either spayed or neutered ,before they leave, if you have a problem stop by the shelter and talk about it.
The shelter is looking good and operating in the black, thanks to folks that care.
And I Know who may of worte this!!!!!!!!
