I started fostering in July of this year after my beloved dog had passed away. I wasnt ready for a permanent new family member, so in turn I signed up to be a rotating door for the Humane Society. That means every few weeks another animal would come to see what its like to live in a family home. We love working with all of the staff at HSCC. We have learned alot also at how to spot animal abuse. We recommend this facility to anyone who wants a wonderful animal to forever home, or to be like us and open up your home and your heart to an animal or animals that need some love and attention!

When I first learned about this organization, I was in awe with all of the good work and great success stories that happen! What I love the most about the shelter is the dedication from all of the staff in caring for Gods precious creatures. With the motto "Every pet deserves a second chance".....they go to great lengths to make sure that once an animal is taken out of a bad situation, they are never put back in one. It makes my heart extremely proud to volunteer for this wonderful shelter!!
