Howard Brown Health offered covid 19 vaccines to many through their outreach program. With a variety of available locations from the Austin community, Loyola Park, the Mexican Museum of Art and several others, many individuals were able to receive Covid 19 vaccines. The staff was helpful, kind and went above and beyond to offer these much needed vaccines. I can't say thank you enough! Kudos to you all!

This LGBT community health clinic consistently supplies below-par services from the moment you walk in. Nasty receptionists, disordered medical records, slipshod care provided by nurse pa's and pa's posing as physicians, they are as expensive as a private doctor and if you have health insurance, look out, they're even meaner. The Triad staff is the worse as far as making me feel wanted or "cared" for.

It is beyond my comprehension that this organization cannot provide the least valued division of the organization, The Brown Elephant Resale Store adequate wages as well as healthcare. According to a reliable source, as of May 2012, the stores collectively have generated close to 3 million dollars for Howard Brown. The C.E.O has gone on record saying he is pleased to be able to provide those that provide healthcare with insurance. My question is: Since the Brown Elephant employees are not clinicians, or of the medical community, where do the profits from there hard work go? In my opinion, 3 million dollars can provide an extreme amount of health care. I believe the public is loyal to Howard Brown on the strength that the organization will take care of its employees. Plain and simple: Reducing the Brown Elephant employees to part-time status and taking away their health benefits in not taking care of their employees. Windy City Times did a story on the various non-profits in Chicago, and Howard Brown was the only one who did not provide the information to them for the sake of transparency. Howard Brown as an agency is wonderful. Jamal Edwards and his board members need to be called to task on their dubious business decisions. The public is clueless and it need to be addressed immediately.
