Mission: Household Goods, Inc. provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home.
Programs: Hgrm accepts donations of gently used household items that will help people make a home. Volunteers receive, sort and distribute items to individuals and families from over 158 communities in eastern massachusetts. As an organization staffed by volunteers and coordinated by three staff employees, hgrm depends on the generosity of community members for goods, time and financial support. Over 700 hgrm volunteers work with more than 349 social service agencies to help approximately 2,600 families a year to rebuild their homes and start their lives over.
