There is something about this organization is not right. They helped me to apply for USDA grant/loan to correct the sewage in my backyard, leaking roof and damaged bathroom floors. After paperwork was signed with contractor and the work that he could finish in the time requested in the contract was complete, I still have waste in my backyard and was charged for the work that was not done. Per the director of houseaboutit, they removed the request to have septic tank repaired/replaced and w/o my knowledge. I still have waste in my backyard!!! They silently affirmed that their contractor should be paid for new pipes for the bathroom that I never requested but was under the impression that the charge would be for 16 feet of line for my tank , which was discussed with the director and her field help. I was not made aware of this new change. And they have not provided an answer to why the request for septic repair was removed and the new charges added without my knowledge. They did not represent ME!!
