My sympathies to the first person who posted here; I wish you success with Hospitallers.
My father in law passed away in August and my mother in law asked me to contact this company for her (as it is understandably too stressful for her to do) to set up compensation for her husband's death. Make note that they both have been members of this association for years and years and have paid faithfully! I have left messages with the Stevens number and tried to get through to the Akron number - all to no avail. I have sent an email, too. I asked the funeral home about this association and sadly, they didn't give much hope. They reported that other of their clients have had a difficult time receiving their compensation - it takes months. This just doesn't seem right. The family is grieving; they just don't need "this" yet. Can someone please give some guidance on how to proceed? Thank you!
I will update this post as time goes by; hopefully it will end well and then I will be promoting the association!
PS According to the Reading Eagle Jan 8, 1949, this organization has been in business at least since then, so you would think it is an upright association.

My husband passed away the beginning of August 2014. I have left 2 messages and they were never returned. I have since called and there is no room in the message box and that has been the last 2 weeks. Not having any other way of contacting anyone I called the Better Business Bureau to see what they can do. My husband paid into the life insurance for years and now that the money is needed no one can be contacted. If anyone can help me please email me....yodonna2000@yahoo.com
