When I thought of hospice care, I always imagined it was for the patient. I didn't realize that it would be comforting for ME as well. Hospice of the Foothills was amazing from taking the stress out of getting my parents on hospice, acquiring the medical needs from oxygen - hospital bed - sponges- swabs- wipes-pads-you name it! , learning how I can care for my parents - and ALSO myself!, understanding the process of dying which helped my entire family, and being available immediately when they died, and after for bereavement care. Hospice of the foothills relieved stress, comforted, and made it so our parents deaths are now really a welcome memory with warm thoughts of time spent together instead of full of worry and dread. Thank you to the HOF staff!
