I believe "A Miracle Every Mile" is not only the motto but the mission of Hosanna Industries. The staff and volunteers help the "least among us" not only near their home-base but wherever there is need - W VA, TX, Haiti, FL...I'm sure that for someone who has no heat, no hot water, a leaky roof or windows to finally have these needs met is a miracle. Often people who have been denied help by other organizations find help along with caring, compassion, and hope through Hosanna. "God's work is Everyone's Business" and Hosanna with hammers, hearts, and hands does God's work.
We not only donate but have volunteered for this worthy organization.

It has been more than twenty years that we have known about Hosanna Industries and the wonderful work they do serving the poor, the needy, the unfortunate not only in the Pittsburgh area but in many places in this country. They have traveled to areas to help those whose lives have been turned upside down - often literally - by natural disaster - tornadoes, hurricanes, floods; by acts of violence such as church burnings. Wherever there is a cry for help, Hosanna responds. The mission workers have also gone to Haiti to help relieve some of the suffering there.
We have been on the Hosanna campus and met many of the staff. They are dedicated, hardworking, and committed. Not only do they work and build with brick and mortar, wood and nails, stone & steel but also with love, hope, caring and compassion. If the refrigerator and cupboards are empty, they are filled before the workers leave; if there is no Christmas tree in a home, one is brought in along with gifts and food for a holiday celebration.
As hundreds of others have done, we have also volunteered for this organization and have seen first hand the work they do and how they help to transform lives. On campus there is a Trade Skill Learning Center where young men from the inner city have had their lives changed as they have received training so they too can go out in their neighborhood and make a difference - for good!!!
And as many others have done, we have donated to Hosanna. We do not take our charitable donations lightly. We want to know that the money is going for the work it was intended to be used for. We do believe that Hosanna Industries is a good steward and uses their finances efficiently and wisely.
Hosanna is a special and unique ministry - worthy of any assistance you can provide.
On Tuesday, I just had a group of wonderful people come and help me with problems I have been trying to do myself for over 15 years. I used to be able to paint my inside of my house, but with falls and many other things I just couldn't do much anymore. Becky and her crew painted my living room and bathroom. They did a great job. Becky fixed a part of my ceiling above my steps the was falling apart and crumbling on my steps to go up stairs. It is shocking to see no hole as I walk upstairs now. Very nice. And last but not least. Becky pointed around the outside of the house that was in very bad need of a lot of work. Great job. The group was full of talent, and plenty of smiles. I never thought I was ever going to have these things done. Now I can have friends and family over again. And I will be singing their praises to all. May God bless this group. Sorry group, I told you I was bad on names or I would have thanked all of you by name. And all of this was done in just one day.

Hosanna Industries are an extremely wonderful mission. Very honest and caring group of people with LOVE pouring out in everything they do!
We have been bringing groups of students to serve with Hosanna Industries for at least 10 years. Although our kids are young, the staff allows them to do real work, like putting on a new roof, hanging dry wall, demo, or hanging insulation. They train and work with our students so well, and our kids experience an amazing sense of accomplishment, as well as being able to help a family in need. We have also been a part of delivering Christmas food and gifts to families served by Hosanna- another amazing experience.
Hosanna has a special week where they invite church families to come and volunteer. The past two years I have taken my children, ages 6, 7, and 9. My kids took notice to how many people wanted to help. They enjoyed helping. They felt like they were really contributing to the community and people in need. I'm grateful to Hosanna for the opportunity to share with my children how it is truly an honor and a blessing to be able to serve the way the Lord has told us to do. We love Hosanna!
Put simply, the staff at Hosanna Industries walk the walk. Donn and Amy are wonderful people and I'm proud to have them as friends and neighbors.
My 11-year-old daughter, Caroline and I had a wonderful time volunteering for Hosanna Industries. We were there learning how to can vegetables. When I told my daughter what we were going to do she wasn’t very happy. She said she would rather have a play date with a friend. When we arrived that morning we went right to work in Hosanna’s garden picking beets and onions for canning. She really enjoyed pulling beets from the ground to find the biggest ones she could get. She worked really hard and it made me so proud. Then we went inside to start the canning process. She worked like a little bee doing exactly as instructed - filling jars with garlic, a pinch of pepper and passing it on to the next person with enthusiasm. Again, I was so proud watching her work so hard and enjoy every minute of what she was doing. Amanda, Emily and Becky from Hosanna were great role models for her. As we were cutting beets she participated in the fun conversation. Which is what I was hoping for. On the way home I explained why we were doing what we were doing and she got it. Volunteering and helping other people can be fun, especially knowing that we are supporting people who are helping people who really need it. She said she never expected it to be that fun and that she understands why I volunteer now. Needless to say it was a very positive experience and a good bonding opportunity for us. She’s anxious to do more and so am I!
I have organized several different groups of volunteers to assist Hosanna Industries in their mission! All of the groups included both older children and adults. Not only did we participate on important projects, the staff at Hosanna takes the time to TEACH the proper techniques so that the work is done correctly and beautifully! The uplifting attitudes and constant praise, as well as the staff's ability to keep the volunteers moving forward ALWAYS make for a fantastic experience for all involved! And, after witnessing first hand the impact of the work that they do, every member that participated is eager to volunteer again!
Volunteered with my employer and have to say one of my favorite experiences! A great organization that helps so many people and they treat those of us not as savvy with such patient instruction, you learn so much.
Every year my family helps Hosanna Industries deliver Christmas gifts to every family they have served over the year - everything from siding to plumbing to building an entire house in a week! Hosanna is an amazing organization full of wonderful, kind, Christ-driven families that work together to help the people around them and spread their ministry in the best way possible, by showing the work and the love of Christ in everything they do. It is a blessing to have gotten to work with them over the years and to grow up in their church. :)
I have been involved with Hosanna since 1994. I have witnessed the most amazing transformations of people's lives through new and improved homes with sincere human compassion. Hosanna builds and rehabs homes for low income and handicapped households but they do so much more. They build relationships, and instill hope for a better future. They teach skills and build confidence. Anyone who is helped or helps is touched profoundly.
Hosanna Industries not only helps those in need, it opens our eyes and humbles us to the great need in our world. Working with Hosanna shows that anyone can help their neighbor be blessed with the basic need for shelter, warmth, food and prayer. My Girl Scout troops love to volunteer with Hosanna and have learned so much about generosity, caring, faith, respect, hard work and the satisfaction of knowing your hands have helped make the world a little bit better. Thank you, Hosanna Industries, for helping us learn that God's work is everybody's business.
Hosanna Industries has been helping people in wonderful ways for almost 25 years. In Pennsylvania and throughout the country, Hosanna truly brings "a miracle every mile." They welcome volunteers of all ages and skill levels, and it is remarkable what they accomplish in the name of Jesus Christ. Through their "blitz builds" in which they build a house in just five days, and through their repair and rehab projects for people in need, they truly change lives. And they also change the lives of their volunteers, who are blessed beyond measure by their experience with Hosanna Industries.
I have had the privilege of working with Hosanna on several occasions. The staff have hearts of gold and their mission is written all over them. They exhibit such compassion for the clients that they serve. I think that every interaction that I have had with this organization has left me yearning to do more!!
The work the organization does is exemplary. And the type of work they do, in and of itself, is commendable. Every client that I have come in contact with through working with Hosanna has said that they have changed their life....and I can believe that whole-heartedly!
Hosanna Industries is an organization close to my heart because I grew up watching and witnessing all the wonderful things they do in our community. The staff and volunteers are exceptionally caring and care about making a difference in the name of Jesus. It has always amazed me how far they can stretch their dollars to help as many people as they can. God bless!
I have volunteered with Hosanna a number of times over the last 15 years or so. They are a caring group of skilled people who take their jobs very seriously. Whether it's a rehabilitation job fixing a window or installing a new roof, or a full house build, the same amount of passion and planning goes into making sure their donated funds are used efficiently and wisely. The only thing better than their craftsmanship is their attitude.
Our experience with Hosanna Industries has been truly outstanding! Our workday, with their leadership, was well-planned, well organized and well executed. They received and coached every member of our team of 20, from age 7 to 61, so that every single team member could participate in working and serving others in the community of Etna. Best of all, they opened and ended in prayer and our work together was offered in humility and with joy in Jesus' name. Because of their leadership and preparation, we accomplished a lot, had a great time together and modeled giving back to the community in service to others for our kids and teens. Hosanna Industries is a terrific organization --they are experienced, efficient and loving in coming alongside those who can use a helping hand. Fountain Park Church looks forward to serving with them again!
Last spring Hosanna Industries came to my town to build a house from the ground up for a deaf mute man who lost everything in a fire. I took a group of students to help. We were given jobs to do. The kids learned how to insulate a house. They were so proud of themselves when the job was completed. They learned that helping others is the best reward you can give yourself. Thank you, Hosanna Industries, for teaching my high schoolers this valuable lesson!
The team at Hosanna sets the bar for excellence in terms of integrity, compassion, dedication, creativity, and kindness. They build solutions for problems that no one should ever have to deal - using less money to do it than anyone would ever imagine. They build relationships as a sideline by living lives that demonstrate faith and hope and patience and humor and commitment. They are so smart and so skilled they could do anything in life...but they choose to whatever it takes to create miracles every day for small audiences of individuals who are often long overdue for some good news. If we can't be them -- we can invest in them. I hope many, many more folks will get dig deep to help the work of Hosanna continue and expand. You can trust this organization to make the most of whatever you can give.
Hosanna Industries, Inc., is there when no one else can help. They have helped so many in the area with a wide variety of needs. They helped a friend Bill with his roof when he had no others to turn to. Thank you Hosanna Industries for all you do!
Hossanna is miracle every mile, unbelievable staff, dedicated compassion for the truly needy in our society. Has been my honor to serve and be associated w/ Hosanna. Truly a great outfit.

Hosanna is a great mission! I've volunteered on multiple occasions with people of all ages. They are organized, knowledgeable, and excellent with volunteers. No matter your skills -or lack of skills - they can teach you what you need to know to get real work done and make a difference in people's lives. I reccomend Hosanna to anyone who asks as a great use of volunteer time and charitable donations. Keep up the good work!

I am so happy to have the chance to tell people about this wonderfully amazing ministry. Every single person connected with Hosanna Industries is hard-working, loving, and very patient with training the volunteers. We all learned so much from them. They treat everyone with respect and I just can't say enough great things about them.
I have never had so much fun and felt so good about working that hard! It is obvious that each and every one of them truly loves and believes in their ministry, and are very willing to share their faith, gifts, and talents.
If you ever get the chance to volunteer with them, just do it!
