Nonprofit Overview
Mission: We bring together civic, cultural, and volunteer participation to unite the city of san francisco through equestrian arts and events. Its goal is to foster leadership among the youths of san francisco so that they will continue to uphold the cultural strength of the city, as well as its equestrian history. We host such equestrian events as polo in the park, jumping in the park, dressage in the park, and the future san francisco international horse trials, in order to create awareness of, and to raise money for, its james s. Brady therapeutic riding program for children with special needs both locally and internationally.
Programs: Under the direction of personnel who have been certified and insured by the equine associated growth and learning association, our program helps mentally or physically challenged children. Each student participates in a specially designed program that is individually suited to his or her needs. Children learn anatomy, grooming and riding and begin to develop friendships with the horses and other riders.
