This is a place where horses are rescued, hearts are healed and hope springs eternal.
I have seen some pretty awesome things happen here. If a horse is ill, there are 10 + people around the clock who voluntarily put their own lives on hold to take turns through the night providing every possible solution to help the animal survive. Those who cannot administer medications, etc. Rally together around the animal to pray for, comfort, and otherwise support the all out efforts to save it's life.

There are NO paid employees here, yet EVERY day, every animal is fed, and given clean, fresh water to drink. They are bathed regularly, have their stalls cleaned, and get fresh bedding added. Their feet are groomed and shod as needed. and when necessary they have their medical needs met.

Maybe even more impressive are the stories I have been told by other volunteers about their own personal journeys through different types of life tragedies and pains and how coming to this place helps them to restore their sense of balance, give them renewed purpose, and helps them to focus on positive things again.

I have seen young people come here, (Kids who could have easily fallen into the negative lifestyles they were brought up in, or followed some of their fellow classmates into the streets to become drop outs, gang members, teen parents, addicts, etc.) and through positive reinforcement, hard work, and lots of love, Grow into responsible, productive, and caring, adults. They are high school graduates, prize winning horse riders and show people. Many of whom are now teaching the basics of horse care and riding to the next generations of youngsters who will undoubtedly learn the most powerful of life's lessons here on this ranch.......
That with a little love, a lot of hard work, and a horse to care for,
all things are possible.....................
