Mission: To support and conduct non-partisan research, education and informational activities that increase public awareness of the value of therapeutic riding and its possibility as a healing tool for those with a wide spectrum of special needs, physical, mental and emotional. To offer instruction and education to those in the community who volunteer to help with the program.
Programs: In 2015, horse power healing center equine- assisted program served 20 individuals with special needs. 75% of our students were children under the age of 18 years. Half of the students served were on the autism spectrum with the reaming students having mental or physical disabilities.
