Causes: Arts & Culture, Singing & Choral Groups
Mission: A. To encourage, support, promote and foster music education and appreciation at horlick high school. B. To establish liaison between horlick's vocal music department (vmd) and the students and their parents and the community. C. To support horlick's vmd and the director in their music endeavors. D. To enhance the reputation of horlick's vmd.
Programs: Madrigal dinner with performance - vocal music students prepare and serve an authentic renaissance dinner, followed by a musical performance. Event is served and performed in period costumes, make-up and hair styles of the era.
concert, retreat and banquet- a concert to give students the experience of performing in front of a live audience; a retreat for two days of concentrated vocal music instruction and performances; the year-end banquet to honor graduating seniors, present awards to outstanding students and award scholarships.
tour- a trip to washington dc for performances at various schools and groups, along with a clinic.
