Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Hopes Closet's purpose is to provide clothing and necessities to children in need with in the community. Our goal is to provide these necessary items in a manner which gives the children dignity in order to focus on other areas important to their well being.
Results: We regularly have walk ins of social workers, foster parents, county health nurses, and battered women (by referral). We give weekly and biweekly deliveries to outlying areas within the community, as Rebelle Family Shelter, Sienna House, Loaves and Fishes, various community centers, state run preschools, nursing homes, Alzheimer centers, senior centers, clothing exchange, Pregnancy Resource Center, drug rehab, Head Start and women's centers. We also have shipped out of the state to areas ravaged by storm, (New Orleans), Mexico, missions, Africa missions and India missions.
