I love how this organization helps women who want to get out of the red light district life and do something else vocationally. They are doing a heroic undertaking as many of these women are challenged in light of reading and writing and knowing basic life skills. Yet, one for example, is out on her own living a normal life. Besides coming up with tailor-made curriculum for each woman, they also help at risk children.
I have seen the amazing work that this organization has done, in the communities that they serve, first hand. It was great to see the positive and uplifting impact that Hope Restored India and it’s programs were having on the lives of their clients. The mission of this organization and their passion for service has always been apparent.
My husband and I are long time supporters! In the beginning, we were supporting the dream with prayer, occasional gifts and volunteering. Then I received an invitation to work side by side for a short period of time with these passionate and committed women in India. The work is hard, dirty and dangerous at times. There are tears of pain and tears of joy; trials and and triumphs. A woman handed me her baby and said she wished I could take her baby away from this lifestyle she felt trapped in. I danced with a toddler at the train station who came to beg money for his family. I rocked a tiny baby at the hospital while visiting the ill brother of one of the girls in the program. A widow joyously shared at a prayer meeting how ' the One True God" had met her recent needs. I was deeply moved as I read the essay of a teenager from a slum who expressed her dream of becoming a doctor so she can return to her village and help her people. Reading regular updates since, we continue to be amazed at the way lives are being changed and new paths are opened. For example, a madam gave up completely her lifestyle of controlling others to humble herself under the Lord Jesus. And the teenager who wrote the essay will be completing the requirements for her degree in June 2022! We became monthly donors to give more women opportunities to experience hope!
I have had the great privilege of being involved with Hope Restored India since the beginning. Traveling to India to see first hand the impact they are making in the lives of these women and their families! It's a wonderful organization doing wonderful work!
I have been following Hope Restored India since 2014. I have attended fundraisers and have heard speakers talk about HRI. I like their mission to empower the women from the Red Light District to bring HOPE to the women who have been neglected by society. To help them achieve their dreams of being free women, restoring their lives, and providing these women substantial programs in vocational learning, counseling, life skills, and job training. To empower them to build a new life and live as free women. What HRI is doing and accomplishing is wonderful in helping and bringing them changes and opportunities.
I believe so strongly in the mission and vision of HRI not only does my family support HRI but also my business. I have witnessed first hand the work that they do with their clients and families during a visit to India in 2016. That visit has only strengthened my resolve to do all I can to support the mission in anyway I can.
It has been amazing to watch this organization grow into a world class mission through the grassroots and organic support from all those that become involved.
An amazing organization providing opportunities for disadvantaged women to learn important skills necessary to help them qualify for occupations enabling them to make a better living for themselves and their families.
Having the incredible opportunity I was afforded to see the Hope Restored team in action, first-hand", I was struck by the depth of the support given to the women by the well-trained staff. Not only were the women (and their children who had accompanied them) provided a nourishing meal, they were given individualized attention to address their personal health needs as well as other pressing challenges they were facing. The staff is caring and encouraging helping the women focus on what they can do to help themselves to move forward by taking advantage of the educational life skills sessions provided. A top-notch organization to be sure!
Hope Restored India is an exceptional organization that is empowering women to transform their lives. I have had the privilege of seeing this organization's work first-hand in India, and their commitment to providing education, medical care, job training, mentorship, counseling, and holistic care to the women in their program is inspiring. Their staff is highly trained and deliver the highest quality of service to the participants. Lives are truly changed as a result of this organization, and the entire community in which they work has felt the lasting, positive impact of their work.
In Isaiah 61 it says "Instead of your shame, you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace, you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours." The women that are helped at Hope Restored rejoice when they feel the love from these volunteers. They give hope to women through vocational training and other methods of training in this area of India! These women work on the streets and in a community center they have just purchased to transform these women, keep them out of trafficking and give them hope! What better way to help India than this!
I wholeheartedly believe in and support the mission of Hope Restored India. Their passion to empower women affected by human trafficking to live healthy, self sustaining lives through training and counseling is inspiring. They are making a big difference, and I believe their impact will be felt for generations to come!
