A couple of weeks ago I witnessed a young lady at one of your adoption stations. She was crying and confused about what had just happened. She had been there for over two hours talking to you and bonding with a puppy she wanted to adopt. You gave her the paperwork and gave her the okay to adopt. During this time a family with two small children had walked in. They also wanted the same puppy. You then told the young lady she needed to have someone who is 21 with her (she was 19). The young lady told you she was stepping aside to call her brother/mother and that they would be there shortly. During this young lady's phone conversation with her family you adopted her puppy to this new family that had just walked in! This family had two other dogs and small children in the household but you were okay with that and yet you told the young lady that she could not have other dogs or small children in the home. This poor young lady was crying because she could not understand why you would do that to her! I could not either but I will tell you what I did see was that she was black. Either the family paid you more than the hefty $350.00 adoption fee or you prefer to see you dogs go to a white family! Shame on you!
They show animals for adoption on several websites. Good luck trying to adopt an animal from them. They have contact phone numbers to call that immediately go to voice mail. They never call you back despite several requests to please return your phone call. Are these people really helping to rescue and adopt out animals? Or are they playing on the sympathy of those of us who love animals and are willing to donate money to what we hope is a good cause. It's easy to have a lot of animals that you never adopt to others while collecting "donations" to pay for their care. This doesn't seem to be very honest.
