There really aren't accurate words to describe the work that God is doing through Hope Project International, but I will try my best even though my words don't come close to the impact of what they are doing to change the world every day.

Two years ago I went on my first mission trip with Hope Project International, and I went to Nicaragua. We had two teams, one that built houses and one that was part of the VBS (vacation bible school) team and I was on the VBS one. Getting to go and love on kids while sharing the love of God to them was such an incredible experience and one that I will never forget.

In October of this year I wanted to go back on another mission trip, and I absolutely knew that it had to be with the Hope Project International team again. And I strongly felt God calling me back to Nicaragua. Unfortunately, I wasn't going to make the funds that I needed to go on the trip due to it being during the holidays. I reached out to ask if they had another trip that I could go on that wasn't Thanksgiving week and Guatemala was brought up as an option. The Hope Project International team does such a great job of helping you figure out how to go where God is leading you.

Going on the Guatemala trip I had no idea what to expect. I was jumping into a team last minute that I didn't know, a country I hadn't been to before, and stepping out of my comfort zone to be apart of the building team. That week I bonded so incredibly well with my small, but mighty, team of 5. Built two houses, delivered 10 bags of food to families, played with kids, and made incredible memories that I am so blessed that God called me to through the Hope Project International team.

If you are looking for an organization to go on a mission trip with, look no farther! Than, Megan, Bill, and Sabra our such an incredible group of people that change the world in ways that you will never know unless you partner with them! If you don't feel like going to another country is in your calling just yet, giving to them would be just as tremendous a blessing as going. You are still a huge part of helping change the world with such an incredible team.

I feel like my story still doesn't even come close to describing the experience that I had through the Hope Project International team, but I do know that God called me to them, and that He is using them in tremendous ways to change the world, and I can't wait till next July when Lord willing I will be going on another mission trip with them!

So what are you waiting for? Join this amazing team in changing the world!

I first heard about Hope Project International through my church a few years ago. They went on a missions trips to Nicaragua and unfortunately I was not able to attend. I always said that I wanted to go on a mission trip but just never found the time to. After speaking with some friends this year, I decided that this summer would be the summer I would go on a mission trip. Initially at first I wanted to go on a trip with Hope Project but they didn't have available dates for me in the summer. I signed up with another nonprofit but unfortunately that trip got canceled. So I wasn't sure I was meant to go on a trip. But God works in mysterious ways and Hope Project had an opening to go on a trip to Guatemala! I immediately signed up! I was informed that it was going to be with another church in Florida and I was excited to go on this journey. The day came and I joined my group in Miami and we began our journey to Guatemala. Instantly, we all connected on the trip and I have to say that they were an amazing Team to have worked with. Bill and Sabra, our Team leaders, really made me feel comfortable since I didn't know anyone in the group and really made this a trip to remember. Our group in Guatemala worked with Servants Hearts Ministries and we were able to build 3 homes for families who lost their homes last year from a volcanic eruption. Seeing the families reactions when we gave them those homes is something that I will never forget. It was truly a life changing experience that I will cherish forever. With that said, I would most definitely go on another trip with Hope Project God willing in the future! I am grateful to God for putting organizations like Hope Project out there for people to do the Lord's work.

Our church has been honored to partner with Hope Project since 2016. We have sent 5 teams to Nicaragua and each trip has been incredibly fruitful and fulfilling. Hope Project works closely with the local church in the community which is very important to us as a ministry. We want to know that we are supporting the on-going work of the local church.

Hope Project, under the leadership of Than & Megan, is on mission to reach people, especially children, with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ through meeting very practical needs. Their passion for children reflects the heart of Christ.

We would highly recommend them as global partners. We have experienced a high ROI through both financial investment and through short-term mission trips. They have shown themselves to be faithful stewards of the resources given to them.

We have sent adult teams, college-age teams, & student teams and all were productive, faith-filled experiences.

It’s a privilege to change the world together with them!

Hope project international is one the the best nonprofits around. I’ve gone on two mission trips with them (one to Nicaragua & one to Guatemala). Each of these trips have been a blessing to me but also to these family’s in need. During these trips our team has been able to provide meals and build homes for these families. One of the best parts about this organization is that they encourage us to get to know the children and families we are building for ; Show them God’s love and let them know that what we are doing for their Family is a Gift from God.

Leading up to Guatemala, I knew I wanted to pursue missions after high school. Apart of me though was uncertain what it’s actually like first hand. Pictures and stories don’t even compare to experiencing it yourself and how God works on you and through you. Serving in Guatemala blessed me immensely. God confirmed that His calling for my life is in ministry. I realized the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. To see what Hope Project does inspired and encouraged me to take a step out in faith and surrender to God to use me. Hope Project is an example of being God’s hands and feet. Not only do they change the lives of so many in different countries but they also influence the lives of the people that come along to serve with them. This trip was my first mission trip and it was the greatest experience of my life and is only the beginning of my passion for ministry. I’m so thankful that I got to come along with Hope Project International!!!

Getting to serve with Hope project in Nicaragua has been one of the best experiences of my life. It is incredible to see the amount of lives they have impacted for God’s kingdom by supporting kids programs through the church and building houses for families who don’t have the best living conditions. Hope project spreads Christ’s love around the globe by connecting with and serving those in need. I can’t wait go back and serve hope project next year in Nicaragua! I highly recommend supporting Hope project in any way you can! As they always say “together we can change the world”.

I had an incredible experience with Hope Project yet again. This was my second trip to Central America with this team and I am already planning when to go next. My favorite thing about working with Hope Project is the fact that we get the opportunity to meet real needs in the areas of shelter, education, nutrition and spiritual development! Because of this organization kids are able to get an education, sleep under a solid roof, have food on the table, and have faith to carry them through difficult times. I encourage anyone to get involved whether that means financially or joining a trip! You won't regret it.

I have taken almost 150 students on trips with Hope Project International and they have been an excellent and rewarding experience to say the least. A lot of non-profits have a heart to make a difference, but very few organizations are as dedicated to their cause as Hope Project International. I have served and led in multiple cross-cultural settings, but HPI has, without a doubt, led the smoothest and most impactful trips I have ever been a part of. They are easy to work with and an enjoyable balance of laid-back and detail-oriented! They are great people and are really making a difference in the lives of thousands.

Life-Changing!
My eyes had two years of hurt seeing how people in Nicaragua live. However, after building eight homes, sponsoring kids to go to school, and dedicating the new homes to the families, my eyes were filled with tears of joy. Hope Project does an amazing job being organized, preparing for any situation, and seeking to find ministry to serve anywhere! I am a huge fan, and recommending hope project of friends and organizations searching to serve.

I had the pleasure of traveling to Guatemala with The Hope Project in April 2018 and it was life changing! Megan and Than have hearts of gold and working alongside them is such a gift. They don't talk the talk, they walk the walk and bring others along with them. They give their all to this ministry and sacrifice so much to obey the Lord's call on their lives. There were many experiences I took away from partnering with The Hope Project but one of the most life changing realizations that I had on my trip was that God uses His people to reach His people. We were able to successfully build two homes for two incredible families. We even got to share a home cooked meal with each family and pray a blessing over them and their new home. Those moments are ones that I cherish most. I will for sure be planning another trip with The Hope Project in the future so that God can use me to reach His people again and again!

I have had the privilege of going to Nicaragua twice. Both times I was not only moved by the great need in the community, but was also touched by the joyful and giving people that I encountered.
It is an honor to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and by giving your time or money to Hope Project you will not only bless those who truly need it, but also yourself.
Than and Megan Graffam are wonderful, organized, friendly individuals who have a big heart for God and His people.
I highly recommend taking a trip with them. There is no confusion, you know exactly what you are doing and where you are going. Building a home and knowing that the family will sleep in it that night, will change their life and yours forever.

I have been on several missions trips and my trip to Nicaragua with Hope project was the best. The entire trip was organized and my team and I were never left to wonder what was next. The tips are planned in such away that a team can make a large impact in a community right away. Hope project is very connected to the local community they partner with and it very evident that they are there to make a difference for the long term. I would recommend this trip for any group.

I participated in a mission trip with Hope Project International to Nicaragua in June, 2018. The purpose of our trip was to provide training for teachers in two local schools. This trip was amazing! From start to finish everything was organized and well thought out. This is an excellent first mission trip for anyone wanting to experience missions firsthand. I was so impressed with the work that Hope Project is doing. They partner with local pastors, teachers, and community members to ensure their ministry has the greatest effect. Everywhere we went we received a warm welcome and thanks for our service, which was very humbling from people who have so little. It is incredible how much this organization is doing! They truly are changing the world. I can't wait to go on another trip!

I went to Nicaragua with Hope Project in July of 2017. I was amazed at how well organized the trip was. Every detail was planned out and if there were any “hiccups” along the way our group were none the wiser.
I am also impressed with joe Hope Project teams up with Nic locals to help continue the work done there year round. Teams may come and teams will leave but the great work being done in Nicaragua will continue on because of the relationship with community leaders in the area.
I plan to make this a regular part of my life from here on out and I plan to only go with Hope Project as long as possible.

I have been on a number of mission trips throughout my life, both in the states and international. The trip with Hope Project International was by far the most meaningful and impactful trip I have ever experienced. Hope Project makes going on the trip easy, their organization and attention to detail really put my mind at easy as I led a small group from my church to go on this trip. The work that is accomplished through Hope Project has a clear and lasting impact in Nicaragua. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hope Project International to anyone wanting to support a missions effort or take a team on an international mission trip.

This was my first opportunity to serve in another country on a mission's trip. And I could not have asked for a better experience. Megan and Than Graffam are INCREDIBLE leaders and have a special desire and calling to the communities in Nicaragua. Their core model of nutrition, education, shelter and spiritual development are clearly defined in everything they do. To have the opportunity to go serve with this family and this Hope Project International organization is something that I will forever be grateful for. Serving with Hope Project in Nicaragua was easily one of the most impactful experiences in my life. To see families dedicating their time, effort and, really, their entire lives to serve and love others. To provide meals for young children. To lead those same young children into spiritual discipleship and a love for Jesus. To see families' dreams of a better home fulfilled in an instant by building houses. Jesus is moving through Hope Project International and the people in the community of Cristo Rey. Thank you Than and Megan for your faithfulness and obedience to the calling of God on your lives.

There is no greater feeling than when you reach out and help others with no expectation of reciprocation, but only in love for the people being served. This is what Hope Project International is doing every day! I have had the joy and privilege to serve in Nicaragua with HPI on two mission trips (and have no intention of stopping any time soon!). Both trips were involved with construction and serving the children in the area with Vacation Bible School events. To see the love and genuine care and concern that Than and Meagan have for the people in the communities they have been serving is truly inspiring. The Nicaraguan people are amazingly resilient, and so very humble and grateful for the help that is provided through fund-raising and team work efforts. Not everyone is able to go and work/serve, but everyone can help serve through donations, no matter how small. After experiencing a mission trip with Hope Project International, there is no way to avoid being forever changed! Hope Project International is simply an amazing organization meeting needs of the people and spreading God's Love and Growing the Kingdom...one hug at a time...one meal at a time...one nail at a time. Esperanza!

I was very blessed to be a part of the mission trip this July with Hope Project to Nicaragua. This trip was led by Than and Magan Graffam. They were very professional, loving and organized leaders. The love of Christ and for us and the people of Nicaragua just radiated off of them. It was an amazing experience for me and my first mission trip and first trip out of th US ever. From the moment we started to build homes for the people there until we finished 4 days later the love of God was all around us. Just to be a part of such a great blessing to the people of Nicaragua was the greatest time in my life. I will never forget the people I met there and I want to go back. Bill and Sabra Hatley will be leading our next trip there and I got to know them on this trip and they will make awesome leaders too. A huge thank you to Hope Project International for the incredible work they are doing.

My husband and I were blessed with the opportunity to be able to take our first international mission trip with Hope Project this summer. It was truly a life changing experience for us both. We got to experience what God was doing in Nicaragua first hand. 2 homes were built, 832 kids attended VBS, 8 families received 2 weeks of groceries, and 42,800 pounds of block were laid with different construction projects during our week in Nicaragua. We had the joy of serving alongside a team of 24 others, along with the founders of Hope Project Than and Megan. The prayers, love, and clear detail that Than and Megan put into each trip is amazing. We were literally in awe at the servant leadership that they portray in every aspect of their ministry. They are always coming under the umbrella of God, always serving under the blessing of a local pastor, and always serving right alongside their team. There is such a call on their lives for the poor in Nicaragua but they never touch any of God's glory. They make it very evident to the team they serve with, the organization they partner with and the people that they help that God is the one who provides all things. This is the element that changes lives and saves souls. This is Kingdom work that honors God. God's hand is on Hope Project and God's heart it going out through this organization in everything they say and do. We experienced such joy while being a small part of being the hands and feet of Jesus in action in Nicaragua. The seed that Hope Project is able to plant in the communities they serve in, while in Nicaragua, is seed that is clearly producing a harvest in the Kingdom through the pure, authentic love of Christ for years to come. No one person can do everything but each person empowered by God can do something... We have prayed, we have seen and now we are responsible to act. "Together we are changing the world!"♡ and our lives have been forever changed through this mission trip too. God has broken our hearts in a new way for His people and He has opened our eyes to so many opportunities in the Kingdom. Seek first the Kingdom♡ Here are just a few of the kids that God imprinted on our hearts.

My husband, Chris, and I returned from a Project Hope Int. trip to Nicaragua a little over a week ago. Building homes for the sweet people of Cristo Rey was one of the most challenging yet rewarding things we have ever done. You can see, in a tangible way, how you have helped to make their lives easier and you now have names and faces to add to your prayers. Our team leaders, Jordan and Kristen, were focused, organized and fun. We can't wait to go back.

I did my first missions trip with HOPE Project, in partnership with my local church, in March of 2017. I had never been out of the US, and naturally had questions about how all this worked. I had the opportunity to meet Than and Megan, the founders, prior to the trip, and was impressed with their thoroughness. Once we arrived in Nicaragua, I was amazed at the level of detail, planning, and thought, that went into every aspect of the trip. They thought of EVERYTHING. Short of a few dollars for spending money, every other need was met. The food and hospitality at the guest house was second to none! I actually ate much better on the trip than I do at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and tropical setting was beautiful. We traveled through the capitol city every day, on the way to the job site, and our local driver was amazing. I will tell you that driving in Nicaragua is not for the fainthearted, so approach it as part of the adventure! If you are prone to carsickness, you may want to prepare in advance, that's just how city driving is. Each day we got to stop for snacks and drinks at a local gas station. On the job site, all the tools were provided, and workflow was well orchestrated. We were able to build 2 houses and a guard house for a local school, in 3 days time. Megan and Than ensured that safety was the number one priority, and that we were well hydrated during the day. As time permitted on the last day, we were even able to stop for a bit at a local flea market, and then tour a couple of the local sites. I would HIGHLY recommend one of HOPE's trips to anyone looking to expand their worldview through missions work. The Hand of God is truly on this organization, and the work that they do. They are HIGHLY selective about the agencies that they partner with, to ensure that the money they are entrusted with is spent in the most productive ways possible. I believe in them so much, that I have already booked another trip in July of this year with my 14 yo son, and can not wait to go back!

I went on my first, EVER, Missions Trip with Hope Project International in July 2016. From the beginning of the trip to the end, God was revealing Himself to me in a refreshing way. I went into this experience with Hope Project not really knowing what to expect. I have never been out of the country and my nerves could have easily taken control of me. Instead, Than and Megan and the Hope Project Team prepared me and calmed all of my fears about the trip and I had the best experience of my life!

When our large group made it to Nicaragua, Than and Megan knew exactly what to do and instructed us on how to best reach the people of Nicaragua. Seeing the smiling faces of all the children during our VBS was incredible. My favorite part of the trip was serving all of the children and children's workers their bowl of rice and chicken (lunch). It was my favorite time because I was able to see and be apart of the way Hope Project helps the community. My contributions to Hope Project go to filling the tiny tummies of children who have no other food source, building homes, and caring for those who seek medical attention.

As a result of my life-changing trip, I have now realized that I have a call to missions! I made the decision to volunteer for Hope Project and aid them as they continue to change the world! Hope Project will always be in my heart and I am grateful for all that they do.

My Father and I went on this trip to Nicaragua about 2 years ago. It was heartbreaking to see the community in the condition it was. The children change your hearts. Building three homes in three days will forever be in our memories. We never would of thought that we could change the lives of families living without hope. We told them about jesus and showed them faith everyday.

Than and Megan were awesome! We were given authentic breakfast every morning and were treated with care. We even took a trip to the markets and volcanos to experience nicaraguan tourism. With the leaders structure and faith, God was with us every step of the way. We opened our hearts to each other through devotionals and carried it through our work in their community. That week was a breakthrough for my father and I with our relationship with God.

Thanks again Than and Megan.
You guys were truly amazing!

This was my daughter and I's first mission trip and first time traveling outside the country. The planning and organization that Hope Project went into for this trip and I'm sure all their trips are detailed and well thought out, especially for such a large group. It was an amazing trip. It was a blessing to be a part of the VBS program. The children taught us so much, even though we went to teach them. We can not wait to travel again with Hope Project. I went to Nicaragua in 2015 with Hope Project Inc. and had one of the best experiences of my life. This was my first mission trip outside the country and not only were we able to build homes for multiple families, but play and feed the kids. My favorite memory would be either playing soccer with the soon to be soccer stars or trying to talk to the little girls. They tried to teach me Spanish and loved to give and receive hugs. We also were able to see a Volcano, go shopping, and ate the amazing food that was prepared for us. Felt like I became closer with my church family as well through that trip.

Two things about Hope Project:
1. We donate with confidence that the gift is being used to glorify God in Nicaragua! And that's exactly what happens!
2. We recently had Than and Megan come to our youth group and share about their calling. They've taken a massive step of faith and God has blessed them for it. Their message inspired our students.

We're proud to have some association with this great ministry! Give to them, go with them, learn from them!

Hope Project does an extraordinary job of putting these trips together. They make sure you are thoroughly prepared before the trip, and walk you along each step of the trip during, all while ensuring your safety 100% of the time. It is an opportunity of a lifetime to go on one of their trips. This trip was one more stepping stone on my walk of faith. I encourage everyone to take a week and experience what God has in store for you on one of these trips. He has something for everyone who goes, whether you feel lead to missionary work or not. You can feel the presence of God through everyone involved with this wonderful organization. It is truly inspiring seeing what can happen when you let go and let God!

What sets Hope project international apart is their ongoing ministry! Homes are built, people fed and clothed and even helped medically, but far greater, they build relationships!!! With relationships comes hope, and from hope, comes dreams!! This ministry started as one couple's dream and has grown so quickly in such a ahort time! Each month they return to the Barroughs of Nicaragua, bearing love and to see the people of Cristo Rey run greeting Than and Megan with tears of joy in seeing them speaks volumes! They truly are the hands and feet of Christ and with God as the center, I saw so many mracles take place in my one short week there. I will be going again and again and I can't wait!! My dream is to provide non-emergent medical care to these precious people and others all over the world and my experience with Hope Project Intl. is making that a reality! Go, Give, Pray!! God will do above all that you can ask or think!! I've seen it over and over in action! To God be the Glory!

Elevate Church in Windsor, VA is so excited to be connected with Hope Project International. Than and Megan Graffam's passion for the project's mission is contagious and heart-felt. Our 2015 Vacation Bible School teamed up with Hope Project for our mission connection. The support received from Than and Megan was amazing. They provided video to support our nightly theme and our parent night. That is a total of six videos to support our VBS missions. Our children and families felt connected to this mission because of their personal connection. Praise God for people who feel the call and give their all. Hope Project is an awesome organization with big hearts to help the less fortunate. I have gone with them to Nicaragua twice and have seen first hand the life change they have helped bring to the people there.

I recently went on a trip with Hope Project and had such an amazing experience. We were able to build two homes for two precious families and to hear the testimonies were so very touching. Who would have ever thought that shoveling dirt and mixing cement could be so impactful, but to these families its a place they can call home. I highly recommend this experience and you're in good with hands with Megan and Than!

I recently took a trip with Hope Project and I can't wait to go back! The trip was extremely well organized but without feeling mechanical. It was productive both tangibly and spiritually in many ways! We not only got to build homes for families in desperate need, we also got to see their spiritual growth not only for the mothers, but also the kids! One of the many highlights was seeing the kids so eager and excited to help build their home! Even more exciting was attending the kids' discipleship program, where their joy for the Lord was expressed with singing, teaching, and serving each other. I felt so blessed by this trip! Than and Megan are an amazing team! They lead with such grace, wit, knowledge and fun! If you're looking for an organization to support in any way, this is the one! They have so many great projects planned to help the Nicaraguan community and your help, however small, will make a big difference!

I served on a mission with Hope Project International in July and I am so thankful and appreciative of the opportunity! The ministry that they have with the families in Nicaragua is amazing. From start to finish, everything is well organized and time is well spent - ministering and interacting with the families and children. Hope Project is helping families become better by providing a healthy home environment, food, educational and spiritual growth for the children - which is in turn reaching the parents.

I watched the children's and their parents' faces as they recognized some of our team members that had been there before......they lit up! that speaks volumes for Hope Project and the work they are doing. "let the little children come unto Me".....and they are coming to Christ.

I am anxious to return to Nicaragua with Hope Project next summer.....my heart is already there!

If I had to summarize Hope Project in two words I would choose life changing. Firstly, Hope Project doesn't just focus on the physical aspects of the families they serve. Although they are excellent at providing the physical needs of all the families and children they serve, they also make sure these families are taken care of emotionally, mentally, and most importantly, spiritually. They support programs that enrich the spiritual life of children and families are the world. They make sure they can gain the resources needed for the emotional and mental growth of the families they encounter. Secondly, when they say 100% of the donations, profits, or tools they gain go directly to the families they serve, they are not lying. Anything from needs of electricity to appliances to sports equipment and furniture that are needed for the enrichment of the lives are found through Hope Project. After spending some time with Megan and Than and having the privilege of serving along side them, I can say that Megan and Than would give the clothes off their back and the food off their table for any one of the people they serve. Their hearts and minds aren't on their needs and their wants but the needs and wants of the people they meet and love. Thirdly, Hope Project is one of the most organized nonprofit organizations I have ever known. When I first heard about Hope Project I didn't know much about their process or the people behind it. However, once I met Megan and Than and learned about their process by going on one of their mission trips, I just assumed they were atleast a decade old. To my surprise, I learned they were only establish in April 2013! I am so amazed that Megan and Than have such a strong and reliable process after only being established for two years. I can only imagine where Hope Project will be 5 years from now, but one thing's for sure, I know they'll go far! In conclusion, Hope Project truly touches the lives of the people they serve. I could not think of a better or more deserving organization to sponsor or support.
Much love,

If you are looking for an organization to invest in, whether it be through time, money, serivce, or prayer, HOPE Project is definitely an organization to get involved with. I had the honor of meeting the founders and accompanying them on a trip to Nicaragua. To see their hearts and vision first hand only further confirmed my feelings about this organization- it is something special. I worked side by side with our team to build two seperate houses for two deserving families, helped at a church's feeding program, and visited an orphanage HOPE Project supports. This trip was one of the most well-organized and thought out service trips I have ever been on. Leaving this trip my heart was full to brimming over with pure joy and love and I can't wait to return on another trip. The families we met and their greatfulness astounds me. The thing that stuck with me the most was one of the mother's whose family now has a safe home - she told us "I asked God for a roof and he told me he would give me a house." HOPE Project's work here in the United States and in Nicaragua is a support and help to those in need with a focus on children. I encourage you to find a way to get involved.

Hope Project. 1 word? LOVE.
Hope Project became known to me by 2 individuals who have the love of Jesus in their hearts. When you see pictures alone of the many great things God is doing in and through Hope Project, you immediately get goosebumps. The faces of many precious children and their families that are blessed and most of all, loved by Hope Project & all who contribute, will make your cup runneth over. Hope Project is totally led by the Holy Spirit that just BEAMS tremendously in everything Hope Project does. Whether you contribute by buying a shirt or two or five (each shirt provides 30 meals); or contribute a dollar amount to their education; or make a trip to Nicaragua - I'm telling you that you will feel that same Love and Spirit in your heart. Take action and be a part of that love... it'll change your life FOR-EV-ER!
I LOVE Hope Project because Hope Project is LOVE.

Hope Project works diligently to change lives for the better. We were able to take a trip to Nicaragua and not only see where many donated dollars go, but able to work alongside the founders who live to make a change in the World. We saw people come together and serve their neighbor just like God wants us to do everyday. And we saw prayers answered and little kids who could finally feel safe at night with a roof over their head and a door to shut.
This organization is making a difference with every dollar and every hour donated to them. They are a blessing to the World!
