Mission: Hope Mommies™ is a 501(c)3 non-profit Christian organization whose sole purpose is to come alongside moms and families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, and/or infant loss, bringing comfort, encouragement, companionship, and hope as they continue to walk this side of eternity without their beloved son or daughter.
Target demographics: Moms & their families who have suffered pregnancy or infant loss
Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year, we created 168 Hope boxes that were given to Hope moms and their families, hosted our annual HM WTX Mother's Day Tea, and held our first PAIL worship night called Lamenting in Hope.
Geographic areas served: Midland/Odessa Texas & small surrounding areas
Programs: Our West Texas Chapter of Hope Mommies was established in April 2016, serving the areas of Midland/Odessa (and small surrounding areas). We work to support women and families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss anytime from conception to two years of age. No matter where you are in your grief journey, we are here to provide comfort, community, and support and ultimately share the hope that only Jesus can give. We provide support in many different ways, including meeting once a month in fellowship to provide community, assembling and supplying hope boxes to new hope moms within our chapter, hosting in-person or online bible studies, raising awareness, remembering and honoring our babies in heaven in many different ways, and organizing fundraising events. The larger/main ministry of Hope Mommies provides annual retreats, online small group bible studies, a blog with many different avenues of support, and online community support through Facebook.
